Lala salama! Ben Cyco bids farewell to sister after tough cancer battle (Photos)

Gospel star, Ben Cyco gave his baby sister, Joy Wairuri a deserving burial over the weekend, after succumbing to cancer last week.

Born, Ben Kariuki bid Joy farewell in a private family event in Kamune, Central Kenya, just as she was about to turn a year older.

Despite the pain, the grief, the regret…just everything that clouds one’s being at that particular moment, the gospel artist believed his sister was ‘celebrating because it is well’.

Up on his Instagram page, the vlogger thanked all, I mean everyone. From institutions, to individuals, to family and friends, for the massive support during these trying times.

He admitted that through the unending support and love shown to him and family while in grief, helped easen the pain felt.

A youthful, promising Joy Wairuri bid the world goodbye on Sunday, 10th May 2020 following her grueling battle with her long-lived acute myeloid leukemia.

Shaken by the news, Cyco only had memories of the young one to reminisce. Jotting:

remember when cancer relapsed and I had to break the news to you, we made a promise to each other that we would fight all the way to the end, and you did sis, you fought HARD.

He celebrated her on Saturday, only not to know that that was going to be their last encounter.

I remember setting up a Netflix account for you on your phone on Saturday, so excited that you were not going to be bored anymore little did I know it was our last encounter ????????.

Despite the painful and sometimes regretful memories, Ben had one thing to be grateful for:
