5 things you need to know about Alikiba’s wife Amina Khalef

Alikiba finally married his sweetheart Amina Khalef in colorful wedding that was televised live on Azam TV. The wedding in Mombasa was attended by governor Ali Hassan Joho and several Kenyan celebs including Jamal Gadafi, Ally B and Chikuzee.

The public didn’t know much about Alikiba’s sweetheart until on Thursday. Amina Khalef opened up for the first time during an interview with the Star.

Below are the 5 things to know about Amina Khalef:

1. She of Arab origin

Amina Khalef’s parents hail from the Middle East. Her parents are originally from the Arab state of Oman – a country that borders U.A.E to the north.

2. She was born in Kenya

Amina has been a resident of Mombasa from birth. Alikiba’s wife was born in the Coastal city and brought up at Tel Aviv area in Kongowea.

3. Education

Amina attended Stepping Stone Preparatory Primary School before joining Star of the Sea for her secondary education. Kiba’s wife is an accountant by profession.

4. Met Alikiba during campaign period

Amina Khalef and Alikiba met because of Hassan Joho. Yes, Kiba made several trips to Mombasa to campaign for Joho in the campaign period leading to August 2017 general election. The ‘Seduce Me’ hit maker seduced Amina Khalef during one of his trips to Mombasa and he ultimately married her on Thursday.

5. Why she kept her relationship under wraps

Amina Khalef says she didn’t announce publicly that she was in a relationship with Alikiba because it’s part of Islamic teaching not to do so. Alikiba’s wife was raised in a strict Muslim family,  she was enrolled at Bahrain Madrassa for her religious education at a tender age.
