22-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Grandfather

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in Louisiana for allegedly stabbing her grandfather in the face during a dispute over her cleanliness.

Carrington Harris, of Keithville, was taken into custody on Wednesday after the incident, which occurred at her grandfather’s home.

According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Harris and her grandfather got into an argument after he asked her to take a shower. Harris reportedly became angry and started destroying property inside the house. She then turned off the electricity from outside.

When Harris’s grandfather and another person tried to stop her, she ran away and grabbed a kitchen knife, which she used to stab her grandfather in the face.

Harris then fled the home and hid in the nearby woods. She was later found by law enforcement and taken into custody.

Harris has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic violence and one count of misdemeanor domestic violence with a dangerous weapon. She is currently being held at the Caddo Correctional Facility.

The investigation is ongoing.

It is important to note that Harris is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
