15 year old girl ends herself

On Sunday, a 15-year-old girl from Bande Girls in Nyatike Sub-County, Migori County, reportedly killed herself.

The deputy principal of the school reported the event, according to East Kadem Chief Winnie Malemba.

According to reports, when the dead snuck out of the church session, all of the students were attending church services on the school grounds.

The deceased allegedly used a sisal rope to commit suicide in front of her class.
Police and officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) came on the scene to look into the incident’s causes.

“The deceased mother identified the body as her daughter.”

Police added that they discovered a suicide letter in which the dead claimed that she had been harassed by another student at the school.

The corpse was brought to Migori level 5 mortuary in anticipation of the autopsy.
