Just Like In The Movies! Gunmen In Mwingi Track Victim They Had Earlier Shot To Hospital And Finish Him Off With 17 Bullets
The Kenyan crime scene is quickly becoming like one unending thriller movie.
The unfortunate part is that, instead of paid stuntmen its people’s lives that are callously taken and subjected to heinous acts that leave their families forever shattered.
Yesterday, a Kitui second-hand shoes businessman was fatally shot dead at Mwingi hospital by a suspected gang. Ngandi Malia Musyimi, 27, on Wednesday at 8.30 am was forced into a white car by four men masquerading as police officers.
According to Mr. Musyimi sister, he was blindfolded and driven to Ukasi area where the four attackers shot him several times. They then abandoned his body at the area thinking he was dead only for him to crawl to the main road and call for help. Good Samaritans rushed him to Ukasi Health Care and from there the police took him to Mwingi General Hospital.
While been treated at the Mwingi hospital, the four attackers that had earlier carjacked Mr. Musyimi were permitted in the hospital at 8pm which is past visiting hours and hid in the hospital until 3am when they crept into his ward, and shot him 17 times.
Nurses and patients at hospital have been left insecure of their security while the late Musyimi sister blames the police for not protecting his brother’s life when it was obvious that his life was at risk.
Up to this point police are still carrying out investigations about the gunmen and the motive.
