Jealous boyfriend attempts to behead his girlfriend after he saw her alighting from someone’s car (graphic photos)

In the last few years we have heard stories of young lovers killing each other in the worst of ways. We have heard the story of Ruth Kamande who stabbed her lover a whopping 22 times or about that girl who stabbed her boyfriend to death  after she thought he was playing her.
Recently we came across the tragic story of Cecilia Cheruto, a Moi University student who was assaulted and brutally stabbed by an ex-boyfriend. The killer Abraham Cheruiyot was then murdered by irate students in the hostel on learning of his gruesome murder.
But horrible murders by lovers are not unique to Kenyans; students of Adamawa State Polytechnic in Numan, Adamawa State, Nigeria are still reeling in shock after a student n a fit of jealousy.
According to a Facebook user who shared the appalling story, the man in question saw his girlfriend alight form someone else’s car and he thought that his girlfriend was cheating on him. So he cornered her, beat her up, then attempted to kill her by slitting her throat. Luckily, fellow students heard her cry for help and rescued her and took her to hospital in critical condition.
