Jay Z Finally Drops His Video Featuring a Kenyan Artist

Early July, Chim brought you up to speed with the great news that Kenyan artist Wangechi Mutu has been featured in Jay-Z’s new album, “Magna Carter Holy Grail.” The New York-based Kenyan artist has been featured in JayZ’s new video, “Picasso Baby” which dropped over the weekend.

“Picasso Baby,” the second song off “Magna Carter Holy Grail” features sinister bass backed by wailing synth and boasts about Jay’s luxurious lifestyle. Though the subject matter is not too original, the song’s focused verses and cool flow make for radio appeal.

“Picasso Baby” would be the first music video released from the album; no singles have dropped thus far.
