Jaguar Spared The Agony As President Uhuru Rescinds His Early Directive

A heavy metallic axe had fallen on NACADA officers yesterday thanks to a declaration by President Uhuru that the board had been disbanded, but thankfully it was short-lived and did not cause much injuries.

Everybody believed NACADA was no more when President Uhuru lost his cool and said it has been dismissed, but a statement from State House later on in the evening clarified that the president had not disbanded NACADA board.

Among the casualties of the President’s angry declaration was singer Jaguar who, ironically, had whistled the blow over deep rooted corruption in the body mandated to deal with drug abuse and alcoholism.

Jaguar even believed the President’s statement and went on to thank him for disbanding NACADA. He said:

But as things are, the singer is staying put as a board member even as investigations into the alleged corruption intensify.

Jaguar issued a 2-week ultimatum upon which he will resign from NACADA if something is not done about the same.

But his post following the President’s declaration indicates that he had already surrendered. Is he going to rescind his decision too? Only time will tell.
