Jaguar Causes A Stir With His Entourage As He Storms Mukuru Kwa Reuben Slum Like The Real Boss (Photos)

16 years ago, Jaguar used to put paper bag on his feet before wearing shoes as he walked down the streets of Mukuru Kwa Reuben Slum. Today, the singer cruises in high-end vehicles while visiting his former neighborhood.

The story of one Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar isn’t new in our ears; we all know the super rich musician once lived in abject poverty before snaking his way up to millionaires’ club.

Last week, the singer visited Mukuru Kwa Reuben Slum to donate to families and pupils of Gatoto Primary school.

Apparently we only got a fraction of the story; Jaguar has come out to reveal why he feels proud of going back the slum.

The ‘Huu Mwaka’ hit maker says he once lived in the slum with her sister who got married at the age of 17 after they lost their mother.

The singer says his entourage to Mukuru Kwa Reuben Slum is a revelation everything is possible in life.

“This picture reminds me of 16yrs ago when i used to live here Mukuru kwa reuben slums with my sister who got married at the age of 17yrs after we lost our mum…i remember i had to put paper bags on my feet before putting my shoes to prevent water from entering my torn shoes and to my feet. I remember, i always told my sister that one day i wil get her out here and i thank God i did…16yrs down the lane see how i entered Mukuru kwa reuben to donate to families and pupils of Gatoto primary based in Mukuru kwa reuben slums….God works in miracles and never lose hope.”
