“Jacob Juma killers are hunting Hassan Joho” Raila Odinga warns of dire consequences as he uncovers plan to assassinate Joho

Mombasa governor has dominated headlines for the past two weeks ever since he exchanged fire with President Uhuru Kenyatta in public.

Joho caused a stir when he rejected the new security detail sent to guard his home in Nyali after the government withdrew his guards before sending back a new batch of officers.

The Mombasa governor disclosed that he had received reliable intel about the government’s plans that’s why he decided to reject the new officers and ultimately vacated his house.

Raila Odinga has further added fuel to the Joho saga revealing that Jacob Juma’s killers were planning to assassinate the Mombasa governor.

“People who killed businessman Jacob Juma now want to eliminate Mr Joho because of his political stand… let them try,” Raila spoke in Isebania town during his tour of Migori county to urge his followers to register as voters.

The Cord leader claimed that Joho had became a target because of his firm stand against Jubilee administration.
