“I wish to apologise sincerely for the abusive language that I used towards our staff” Dominoes MD Filmed Abusing Staff Issues Public Apology (Video)

After a video went viral showing the Managing Director at one of Dominoes Outlets in Westlands throwing insults and cursing his employees, the manager has come out issuing apologies.

Mr. Eric Andre has come out stating that he regrets the actions of his words and denied that he is a racist. Furthermore, the manager says he was caught up with the moments passion and regrets the tone and the verbal abuse in his reprimanding of the customers. His message has struck a chord with many especially those who earlier had seen no racism just foul language. A few others were still not satisfied but many commend him for his actions. Here is the apology along with the public video

Hello. My name is Eric Andre and I am Managing Director of Dominos Pizza here in Kenya.

Yesterday a video taken over a year ago surfaced on Facebook featuring myself addressing a team meeting.

I wish to apologise sincerely for the abusive language that I used towards our staff. It was absolutely not acceptable and I deeply regret it.

Whilst the language and tone was verbally abusive, I must stress that there was absolutely no racism involved. I have lived and worked in Kenya for over two years and I do not hold such views.

Customer service is the most important feature of the Dominos brand and we work very hard to deliver the standards of service and fast delivery that you expect. A year on since that video, I think you will agree that we achieve this.

At Dominos our excellent team are educated, experienced, passionate and knowledgeable.

On that occasion I allowed my passion to cross the line and I deeply regret this.

I apologise to all our hard working staff and I want to thank you the customers for your support and hope that you will stick with us as we establish Dominos Pizza, a great brand, here in Kenya.
