For sure pombe si supu, as one Chief is about to learn after his drunken act earned him short-lived fame but a sure punishment.

The chief was caught on camera in quite a stupor and being questioned by a civilian on why he was being drunk despite the pending president’s visit in the area. The chief goes on to dismiss the president’s ban on illicit brew even bragging of his circumcision pride.

He sure may have had his moment in the limelight but the following morning he found himself out of work. The Interior PS had earlier on given an order that chiefs found facilitating illicit brews be arrested and sacked.

The sacked chief however was not apologetic and was found by journalist the following morning at his favorite ‘club’ where he said he is not ashamed of his drink since he is the most drunk chief in the area.“My name is chief Rotich and I am the most drunken chief in this region.
