“I Am Sorry Darling, His Pipeline Is Bigger Than Yours” How Museveni Dumped Uhuru For Magufuli (Photo)

For all his issues with the newspapers you have to say the Uhuru government at times gets its tough from the fourth estate.

Nothing exemplifies this than some of the cartoons that get published taking a satirical view on the important current issues. Recently, Uganda snubbed Kenya and decided to construct its pipeline through Tanzania. It is an action that irked Kenya given how the country had lobbied to get the prestigious venture.

The Star lead cartoonist Gathara decided to have a go on the issue and in dark satirical humor playing on the words pipeline and being in bed. He drew a photo of Museveni and Magufuli being busted by Uhuru Kenyatta in bed in a rather compromising position.

Here is the picture and you can at last see where the president was coming from when he said newspapers are for meat wrapping.
