‘House of Lungula’ Actress Lionized in London

Last Friday, TV and film actress and model and one of the leading cast in Kenya’s first sexual comedy TV show, ‘House of Lungula’, Lizz Njagah Konstantaras was feted in London. The international actress had been nominated for the best actress category at the sixth London Greek Film Festival.

Lizz went on to lift the award for her role in “The Return of Lazarus” (2011); Return of Lazarus is a Greek road movie with a Kenyan touch. Making the announcement, an elated Mrs. Konstantaras posted;

“Oh wow, just found out that I won the Best Actress award at the London Greek Film Festival for my role in ‘Return Of Lazarus’ A film that is so close to my heart.. I dedicate my award to my husband. You are amazing baby. Thank you for all your encouragement and support. Couldn’t have done it without you.. And to all the wonderful cast and crew of the movie.. YOU ROCK! And finally Baba God who made ALL of this possible. Amen”
