Hisia was a ladies favourite in the last cycle of TPF 6. And it makes sense that he releases something for the ladies. A song about how his love interest played him like a clarinet and left him heart broken. Aah yes, the kind of song that was meant for this Valentine’s period.
The lad opens up on a stripped down track that is essentially just acoustic although some more instruments are introduced later on in the song. I think this approach is brilliant because it allowed him to play showcase his vocal array and impress even the harshest vocal critic -me.
The lyrical content is also superb as he decided not to take the pop route on his first release and went for something melodious and soulful. But if I keep yammering, I might wear your ear down so please allow me to introduce the track “Mawazo”:
