Hip Hop Veteran Gwiji Of UkooFlani-MauMau Tells Bamboo, “Where Is Your Album? You Don’t Even Have One Album!”

Gwiji was recently interviewed once again by Youth TV and he went H.A.M as he always does. He spoke about the state of Kenyan hip hop and where it should be and who he feels is doing their best to uplift Kenyan music and indeed hip hop.

And as always, he tore at people and tilted his hat to some. Those to him his hat tilted were the likes of Rabbit, Ocyopizzo, Juliani, Judge, L-Ness, Kayvo K-Force whom he said is always in the studio cooking up food for thought. He seems to be really impressed by Kayvo’s workrate!

To Bamboo, “mtu wangu” He asked, “Hiyo album tumengoja ka venye watoi wanaongoja laptop za Uhuru!” It didn’t come off as a malicious challenge, more like one veteran asking the other to pull up his socks and rise to the occassion.
