“Hii mokimo na githeri alikula Nyeri jana” 7 theories that explain how Raila Odinga ended up suffering from food poisoning
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was treated for food poisoning at Karen Hospital on Wednesday March 8th.
Raila’s spokesman Dennis Onyango told the press that the Cord leader was treated for food poisoning and allowed to go home. He further revealed that Raila would leave for South Africa on Thursday to visit his sickly daughter Rosemary.
Raila had a busy schedule before he was taken ill; he arrived from Nigeria a few days ago and went straight to Nyeri to attend the burial of former Nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua.
From Nyeri, Raila attended meetings at at least three hotels in Nairobi — one in Westlands and two in the Central Business District, before he developed complications.
