Here’s Why Brenda Wairimu is Soon Becoming A Psychopath
After years of modelling, ambassador and acting- CHANGING TIMES (Sharriffa), MALI (Lulu) SHUGA 2 – (Dallah) & KONA (Pamella), super-hot Brenda Wairimu wants to try something totally different.
Brenda has often taken up the roles of a spoilt, naïve or conflicted girl but if she had it her way, she’d play a psychopath or serial killer, reports DStv.com
“I want to take on a role that would be the farthest from who I am; one that would drain me emotionally.”
But until that happens, she’s plying her acting trade on M-Net’s first telenovela, Kona. The fair-skinned actress plays the feisty last born in the Oyange brood.
“I read through the script to understand who Pamela was emotionally and mentally,” says Brenda on her preparation for the role that sees her constantly clashing with her on-screen sister and mother.
How does Brenda view Pamela?
“I see bits and pieces of myself in her. Although I don’t speak out my issues like she does since I’m reserved, we are the same way in how we both go for what we want,” she says.
How does Brenda chill out after a busy day at the office?
Seems you’ll find her at home on the couch under a duvet, watching movies.
However, when Brenda is on set she’s focused on the task at hand; bringing Pamela to life, a job she acknowledges is a success thanks to tips picked up from fellow cast members.
“I learn different things from all of them; Mutiso shows me how to be funny, Julia, anger. I love the cast I work with, the dialogue coach and the directors. The level of production on this show is so amazing,” she explains.
And if you’re curious to know what goes on when the cameras aren’t rolling, Pamela reveals that the cast members often sit around talking, gossiping a little and sharing important pieces of advice.
