Girl Whose Mother Is Set To Be Hanged In China Drowns In Hilton Hotel Swimming Pool After Night Out With American Boyfriend

Yesterday, a 27 year old lady lost her life at the Hilton Hotel’s swimming pool in mysterious circumstances.

Zipporah Adhiambo Omondi was with her American boyfriend who is a pilot with EgyptAir and had retired to the Hotel at about 4am having come from a restaurant in Westlands. Video footage and accounts from the pilot and the other lady friend shows the three getting to the hotel drunk and heading their room adjacent to the swimming pool.

A couple of minutes Zipporah emerges and dives to the pool with her clothes on and swims easily in the water before emerging going to the room and coming back again with no clothes and taking the dive. The pilot and the other lady join her in the pool and after a while notice Zipporah is not breathing and their attempts to resuscitate her failed.

Her death comes as double tragedy to her family with her mother facing her death row in China since 2009 after being convicted for drugs possession.
