It would seem that there is a new musical powerhouse in the Kenyan entertainment scene. It would also seem that Kenyans have begun to make the shift towards more wholesome and creative music. Gone are the days when a three word chorus rapped in a lethargic manner would cut it.

And so yesterday, when I asked Kenyans which band they were feeling, I was not shocked by the response. It was Elani. And by a landslide. Elani fans came from far and wide. Music lovers voted from far and wide and this is what Kenyans had to say about the type of music they are feeling:
