Ghafla Poll Result: Do You Think It’s Time For Kenyans To Censor The Content On Radio?

I said this yesterday. I said this the day before and I will say it again: Kenyans are hypocrites. We want to pretend to still espouse “traditional African values” but then go ahead to do the exact opposite. This would be a case in point. Classic FM’s Maina Kageni and Mwalimu King’ang’i are always cited for discussing “mature content” on air at a time when children are able to listen in -and this is why the society is rotten.

Maina and King’ang’i are also responsible for global warming right? They were also probably behind Boko Haram kidnapping Cameroon’s Deputy Prime Ministers wife!

Bleurgh! Anyway, yesterday I set a poll seeking to find out whether Kenyans feel the government should step in and censor Kenyan radio stations. Seems many people agree that we need to stop pretending our children do not know about sex nor do they engage in it. It is time for parents to stop passing on their responsibility (to raise good children) to everyone including radio presenters.

Anyway, this was the final tally:
