Ghafla Exclusive: Lilian Muli Breaks her Silence And Responds To All The Kenyans On Twitter Savagely Attacking Her For Her Konshens Interview

They say the pen is mightier than the sword. And my oh my, nothing proves that more than Twitter. And Kenyans on Twitter popularly referred to as KoT have been enjoying wielding the immense power that is now at their fingertips in form of tweets. KoT can be brutal. My word, they can be brutal. One of my colleagues knows this only too well after they tore at her. But it’s not all gloom and doom; there are times -rare occasions that KoT shed their brutality and instead are vicious!

Personally, I have no love for KoT. And from some of the tweets I receive, the feeling is mutual. Tough titty said the kitty but the milk’s still fresh! Oh yes!
Away from the nursery rhymes, yesterday, the beautiful Lilian Muli hosted Jamaican Dancehall artist Konshens for an interview and KoT decided that they didn’t like the way she handled herself. Personally, I agree that when people have genuinely constructive criticism, one must take it and use it to grow.

But what KoT instead did was to attack her sending her tweets such as these:

hear she cummed while interviewin Konshens hahahahahaa!! Si nimecheka RT @petercacah: So what did not do?

RT @njiiru: The weave that is always on her head, more like lilian muli kaneighneigh.

And so Uncle Chim Tuna reached out to her. Right of reply and all that. To be honest, I half expected her to be curt. I was happily surprised when she answered the phone politely, and with a smile in her voice.
When I asked her whether she had seen the hateful tweets, she replied in the affirmative. Then she went on to say the following:

I usually strive to avoid negative energy. Especially in this day of cyber bullying, I avoid negativity. Honestly, I can take criticism but when it’s merited and constructive. I however don’t entertain hate. People need to know how much honest , hardwork goes into creating the content for the show. I don’t like that my hardwork is being trivialized. But at the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their opinions.

And just like that, the class act has silenced the dunces taking shots at her shine! Especially the one that couldn’t even get the grammar correct while insulting someone.
