BBC announces project with Anas.

BBC sent out an updated statement about their relationship with Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Furthermore, this was after there were earlier reports that they distanced themselves from the investigative journalist.

However, the network clarified their stance. Moreover, they stated that they produced their own documentary on ‘Number 12’

Also, they stated that their statement is not a disavowal of Anas. Moreover, they are currently working jointly on a new program. They took to their Twitter account to state this.

“Dear followers, please note that reports circulating in the media that #BBCAfricaEye is distancing itself from Anas Aremeyaw Anas are completely untrue. In fact, we are currently working with Anas on a new project.”
