We Don’t Need To Do Shows To Survive- R2Bees Reveals How They Make Their Money
Ghanaian music duo, R2Bees are currently on a media run promoting their upcoming album ‘Site 15’.
The group, which consists of PaeDae and Mugeez recently premiered their latest single
‘Beautiful’ which features Nigeria’s Super star, Wizkid which is obviously doing quite well.
The group, however is hardly seen organizing shows or events to promote themselves like
most of their colleagues do.
This has left many of their fans and Ghanaians wondering as to how they are even able to
keep up with times in this showbiz.

But the duo have revealed that they really do not need to run shows to remain relevant in
the Ghanaian music scenes.
According to Paedae, all things being equal, artistes still need luck to stay relevant in Ghana’s showbiz industry.
PaeDae talking about Ghana’s music industry revealed;
“The industry is a tough for everyone especially the upcoming artist.” He told Joy FM.
“I was telling Darko Vibes about artists that have been in the industry from when we started and they still don’t have a hit song an they are still trying.
“I tell Killbeatz the music industry is like Champions League because you need luck because you can be good but you need that little bit of luck.
“It’s really challenging especially in Ghana when there is no industry where in Europe where you don’t even need to do shows because of Royalties and streaming but Ghana we don’t have the structure where yo earn royalties but we are blessed and lucky because our streaming numbers are crazy that’s why people hardly hear from us. We don’t need to do shows to survive,” he added.
