According to him, he is currently the only Highlife artiste in the country who has been
able to produce best highlife music of his time which have all been hits back to back.
“I’m more focus on the Highlife Artiste of the Year category than the Artiste of the year simply because I cherish Highlife and that is what I do”, he revealed according to a report by MyNewsGh.com
When asked what if the Highlife Artiste of the year award goes to someone else, the
‘Rock Star’ said; “that one de3rr, I will cause extra confusion and will not wish anybody well anymore”.
He argued that if he doesn’t get nominated for the Artiste of The Year, he will be cool but warned;
“I don’t get nominated for the Highlife Artiste of The Year, it means I’m not working at all. I keep saying highlife is my kind of music and so if I don’t get nominated I will do something to somebody”.
