They’re Taking Advantage Of Me – Asamoah Gyan Cries Out To Dead Mum
Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan has reminisced on the undying love of a mother which he
is unfortunately no longer enjoying since his mother is no more.
The Black Stars captain obviously overwhelmed with problems of late has poured out his heart to his mum in an emotional note on his Instagram page to mark the six years anniversary of his deceased mother.

He particularly lamented how he feels, he is being battered because she is no longer around to protect and counsel him.
On 6th November, 2012, the mother of the Black Stars skipper Madam Cecilia Love
Amoako passed away after she was involved in a an accident
Madam Love Amoako drove her vehicle into a pillar at the Teachers’ Hall in Accra.
The accident occurred at the Ghana National Association of Teachers in Accra and was rushed
to the Ridge Hospital where she was later pronounced dead by medical doctors.
Mrs Amoako was a trained teacher by profession and until her retirement was headmistress of a government school, GT Cluster of Schools, in Mataheko in Accra.
Below is Asamoah Gyan’s emotional message to mum;
“6th November. The day you left us. I’m so upset today because so many people are taking advantage of your son since your death but I know God is watching them.
“I wish you can see what you chose for me but it wasn’t your fault hmmm. But I have learnt lots of things from it. I love you mum. Rest In Peace where ever you are.”
