Awards-wining Ghanaian Rapper, Sarkodie has challenged colleague Nigerian musician, Davido to a Jollof cooking contest.
It all started with South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, in quest to find out which country has the best Jollof.
Of course, he has heard about all the Ghana Vrs Nigeria Jollof sagas and he wanted to know who really is the champion.
As a result, Cassper Nyovest posted a poll on his twitter handle with the caption;
“Don’t know if I love Ghanaian or Nigerian Jollof rice more…. What’s your Preference?”

At the time of writing this story, the poll has 18,031 votes, with 52% of the votes in favor of Nigerians and 48% in favor of Ghanaians.
However, Davido replied by tweeting; “Looooool na we get the sauce oo”
Cassper came back to say he had the best Jollef at Davido’s house; “Hahaha.. Had some lit Jollof at Davido ‘s house actually. Called him the next day like WHA??? @iam_Davido.”
Sarkodie who couldn’t take it any longer came on to tell the South African rapper he had no choice but to eat what Davido presented.
“Forget bro … you had no choice … You need options … hit me up I can even make you the best jollof cook Via voice note ”
He later added that he should just put he and Davido in the kitchen and he’ll know the end result.
Davido however responds by tweeting that he wants the challenge to be a music one in the studio.
“Forget this one let’s do gbedu Competiton.. make studio turn kitchen lmao.”
