Songstress Sister Derby has expressed her views on the current banter which nearly took place between actress Efia Odo and controversial counselor George Luterodt.

After several publications on Efia Odo these past few days due to certain revelations made by

anonymous snapchat user fatpu$$y005, Efia Odo met with counselor Luterodt in the studios of

Okay FM on Friday, February 22.

But for the timely intervention of host, Abeiku Santana, the counselor who is known as a ’no-nonsense’ man nearly attacked Efia Odo.

Counselor Lutterodt however was angry at the fact that Efia Odo whose name had been trending

within the week and tagged as a ’prostitute’ came to the studio putting on inappropriate attire.

We were not so sure if his intention was to beat or strip her nak3d but he kept saying Efia wasn’t

from a ’home’.

Several people frowned on his actions, as it is inappropriate for a gentleman to attack a lady no matter what especially in that manner.

Sister Derby upon hearing the news took to Twitter to comment.

Expressing her anger, the African Mermaid said she doesn’t even want to watch the video

adding that the counselor deserves some good strokes of whipping for his actions.

Replying to her tweet, Efia Odo tweets  that the counselor surely doesn’t get good head from his wife.

Below was her comment and Efia Odo’s reply:

Christians Can’t Condemn Nudity – Sis Derby

Socialite Deborah Vanessa Bonsu has argued that Christians do not have to criticize nudity.

Defending her argument, the ‘African Mermaid’ said even Jesus Christ was half naked on the cross.

According to her, if going nude is harmful and shameful, Christians would have covered  Jesus’ nudity in post-presentations at least.

Sister Derby in her explanation to her point added that Ghana is too hot sometimes for people to cover themselves.

The ‘Kakalika’ hitmaker made this shocking comment after actress, Efia Odo

wrote something about peoples preference on social media.

According to the media personality, though social media has nudists like her, there are other influencers who are well clothed often on the platform and people are allowed to choose who they want to relate to.

Of course some Christians went on hard on her, condemning her for blasphemy whiles others too are applauding her for her views.

Kakalika Love’ Is No ‘Diss’ Song – Sister Derby Clears Air

Songstress, actress and model Deborah Owusu-Bonsu, also known as Sister Derby, says her

“Kakalika Love” track is not meant to scoff anyone.

Since the release of the song, many Ghanians have tagged it as a diss song at her ex-boyfriend

Medikal and his new found love, Fella Makafui.

But contrary to speculations, the African mermaid has said that the ‘Kakalika love’ is no diss song.

According to her, although she released the song following her breakup with the “Too Risky” hit-maker, Medikal, the words of the song only seek to explain events that led to the breakup.

“When I went into the relationship, I was asked on national television, if I was dating him. I said yes. So after the breakup, this is my way of telling my fans. [And] I have done that with my song so that they know what happened,” she said.

In an interview on Monday with Accra based Citi FM, Sister Derby expressed surprise at the way sections of the public have twisted the song to suggest that she released the song to “diss” Medikal.

“It’s not a diss song. All of us, we love drama. We love entertainment and he himself [Medikal] has been saying it it’s a diss song. I don’t know If it is intentional because he and I know that we expressed ourselves, we tell our stories in music, there is no diss in the song” she explained.

The “Pure Water” hitmaker stressed that, the relationship was an open one and that the public could relate to what happened.

I Can Only Boil Water – Sister Derby Admits She Sucks At Cooking

Many people have been trying to dig out what actually caused the break-up between

rapper Medikal and his former girlfriend, Deborah Vanessa.

News of their break-up took Ghanaians by surprise few days ago and some fans of both

artistes are still wondering what might have caused the break-up.

The two, though seem to be enemies now, throwing jabs at each other in songs have actually

not made public what caused their one-time romantic relationship to hit the rocks.

Though some fans have attributed the break-up to be because of their age gap, others

feel Medikal probably cheated whiles he was still with Sister Derby.

A few Ghanaians however believe that Sister Derby, who was raised like a foreigner lacks

the basic qualities to qualify as the wife of a black Ghanaian man like Medikal.

Well, it is typical of most black men to look out for what they describe as ‘wife traits’ in women they go out with.

Key among them is the ability of a woman to prepare a well home made food, as they say

the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Of course some women, including a few

men believe this adage qualifies as archaic, yet majority still hold on onto it.

As such, some reports suggests that one of the reasons Medikal left Sister Derby was because

she (Deborah Vanessa) cannot cook and they have to always buy food from the restaurant.

Meanhwile, Sister Derby in a playback of an interview she granted Delay, literally admitted

she cannot cook and the best she can do is boil water.

“I can boil water”, she told the host when asked what food can you cook in the interview that we transcribed

Asked if she can be a responsible wife and if it is not wasting marrying someone like her she would be a very good wife to any man who walks down the aisle with her.

“Of course! Very lovely and caring…I can boil water”, she stated.

Meanwhile, Fella Makafui, Medikal’s new found love is reportedly a very good cook who could win the heart of any man who eats her food.

I Won’t Fight Fella Makafui – Sister Derby

Heart breaks are very painful and it’s very difficult for ladies to get over it easily.

It’s get more painful for Sister Derby when each day when Medikal and Fella Makafui seem to be enjoying the buzz on social media.

However, its very obvious Sister Derby doesn’t care about what people say, since this is not the first time she has been dumped by a guy.

Sister Derby after responding to the break up rumor in her Kakalika song still can’t get over it,

the model and musician has hinted that she’ll never fight Fella Makafui because she believes in Karma.

Sister Derby made this statement via her Instagram page “I would never fight the other woman…I would just walk out…what about you.?” she questioned.

This presupposes that Fella Makafui can have a sound mind in her new relationship with Medikal.

“I would just say it is way deeper than what people think; a lot has gone on. The breakup did not happen today, it happened sometime ago; and it is just unfortunate that people are now getting to know it.

“The truth of the matter is that, Fella Makafui and I have been friends for a long time, long before Deborah and I started dating. And yes, I am with Fella Makafui now, “ he told Showbiz.

According to the IPMC Computer Engineering graduate a lot has gone on that people do not know and the time to speak is now.

“I know a lot has been going on but I would say people should just wait for me tomorrow, I intend to address the issue and it will be via my new single titled ‘Ayekoo’.

“Honestly, as an artiste, there is no better way to deal with issues than through music. We express ourselves best through the songs we do and that is the medium I want to use to deal with the issue.

“After tomorrow, people will understand why I made certain decisions and why I have remained silent on all this since it started. I was just waiting for the right time to do it and I feel the right time is now.”

The song, titled ‘Ayekoo’ has finally been released.

In the song, Medikal made the world aware that he is not ready for marriage hence had to

dump Deborah because she was pressuring him to settle down with her.

It could be remembered that Sister Deborah in several interviews indicated that Medikal

was going to marry her and that they are crazily in love with each other.

However, Medikal some weeks ago made it clear on Twitter that he may not get married;

a tweet most Twitter users were of the view that was directed at Sister Deborah but she

was nonchalant about because Medikal mentioned that it was a joke.

Medikal Stored Fella Makafui’s Number as ”Carpenter” Sister Derby Fires

Sister Derby is currently out with a new song ‘Kakalika love’.

The song according to many is a subtle jab at Medikal and Fella Makafui’s alleged love.

It is believed that this song is a reply to Medikal’s track ‘Ah, Wada’ which disses the musician.

But for one the song is very interesting because of some detailed revelations the ‘Uncle Obama’

hitmaker uncovers. One of such is insinuating that Medikal saved Fella’s name

as ‘carpenter’ when he was still dating her.

‘Kakalika Love’, tells a story of a woman who has been disappointed by her lover and was asking questions.

One of the critical questions she asks is ‘whether the two lovers (obviously referring

to Medikal and Fella) were cockroaches to be hiding their love from the public’.

She also talked about betrayal and how addictive it can get.

Sister Derby referred to them as cockroaches because they were always hiding in dark corners.

She also reminded Fella Makafui about the existence of Karma. Her final piece of advice

was that they respect themselves.

Medikal, on Wednesday, November 7, released a freestyle in which he praised actress

Fella Makafui, the lady said to have caused his breakup with Derby.

And he literally told off those who were advising him to keep the advice to themselves.

Remember that though Medikal and Fella have for a long been rumoured to be in an

intimate relationship, they have always claimed to be ‘besties’.

Sister Derby Releases Visuals For ‘Pure Water’ Featuring Efya(VIDEO)

Songstress cum model, Deborah Vanessa aka Sister Derby has finally released visuals to her single ‘Pure Water’.

Featuring this new single is songstress Efya. The video was premiered on Saturday July 7 at Carbon Lounge in Accra.

Anticipation built after the BTS of this video was released, especially because it saw Wanlov The Kubolor in his sibling goal element draining a swimming pool for the shoot of the video.

Produced by Jeribeatz, Pure water, while it is a love song, also bears at its core, an advocacy angle —against palm-sized translucent plastic sachets via which purified water is sold in West African countries. The “Uncle Obama” woman hopes to have them banned, and instead, replaced with biodegradable pure water sachets.

She also strongly campaigns for the correct disposal of the plastic, to facilitate proper recycling.

Environmental protection has proven a cardinal theme in her music for as long as she has been active. It is also prominent in the art of brother, Wanlov The Kuborlor —who directed the video. Back in May, the siblings collaborated on “RefuseReuseRecycle”, a number seeking to educate Ghanaians on the need to be mindful of how our actions affect the environment negatively, recycling as a better alternative to conventional methods of waste management among other things.

appearances from comic actor Kalybos, radio presenter, Official Kwame, and Wanlov himself below.

The most common way West Africans consume water now is in a palm-sized translucent plastic sachet. This has become one of the main contributors to plastic pollution. Sister Deborah hopes to have them banned.

Please ask for biodegradable pure water sachets if you have to buy some and make sure you dispose of them correctly so they can be recycled.
