The rapper in his caption stated he was ready to make the cypher a song and feature M.anifest.
Sarkodie wrote, “Gotto put these words and more on a proper record ft @manifestive … You ready Bro? ???????? #BetHipHopCypher.”
M.anifest wasted no time responding “for the culture…my mind dey.”
Ghanaian rap icon, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly called Sarkodie is known to be one of the best rappers ever born to Ghana.
However many also know Sarkodie is not to be a good dancer. Perhaps for this reason, to surprise his fans and probably his Wife, the rapper shared a video of himself dancing and singing on the special occasion of his wife’s birthday.
The awards-winning rapper put together special video and message to celebrate the birthday of wife, Tracy Sarkcess.
In his post, the’Highest’ album maker begs all the members of SarkNation to pardon him today
and allow him to take in champagne, certainly an alcoholic one, and dance to one of Daddy
Lumba’s classics titled ‘Se Sumye Kasa’ just to celebrate the birthday of the queen today, March 3.
“SarkNation please pardon me today just one for the bday girl… Lemme drop the Gee real quick and pick it right back up from 12 am … Happy birthday Madam Tracy Owusu Addo”, reads his caption.
Sarkodie started the birthday celebration a day earlier when he got many of his followers
confused after he revealed that Tracy will be 20 years today.
A post which actually meant that he was going to celebrate the special day of the woman he has known for 20 years.
The ‘Can’t Let You Go’ hitmaker has known his wife for 20 years. However they have been dating for like 12 years and have been married for almost a year.
Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly know in showbiz as Sarkodie finally drops the much anticipated collaborative single with Akan.
Titled “All die be die” is an Akufo-Addo patented battle cry.
Sark released this new single following an earlier request to meet with President, Nana Akufo-Addo over hardship in the economy.
The then Flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in 2011
told party members at Koforidua that they should gear up for a serious electoral battle in 2012
because the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) would try to hold on to power by all
means, even though all the odds are against them (NDC).
“We need to be bold and courageous for 2012 because Ghanaians need us to come to power,” he said.
Nana Addo cited the Atiwa by-elections where the ruling NDC sent its goons to visit mayhem on
innocent people during that election, as a prelude to what could happen in 2012.
“They (NDC) have intentions to intimidate us in 2012 because they believe that we are soft and cowards. If that is thinking, then we shall see. At least, during the Atiwa by-election, we showed a little of our colours there.”
“You must understand that this party was formed by courageous people. Our leaders who formed this party that has now become the biggest political movement in Ghana were not cowards. So in 2012 we need to be courageous because all ‘die be die’. All die be die,” he repeated.
Via a tweet, Sarkodie threatened that if that meeting doesn’t happen he will drop part two of “inflation x Masses”.
Those are politically motivated songs he released during the erstwhile Mahama administration
in which he bashed the then government over the hardships the masses were experiencing then.
But for its controversial title, this his ‘all die be die’ track is a normal song with nothing politically spectacular in it.
A few years ago, Sarkodie released ‘Inflation’ and ‘Masses’ to touch on pertinent issues bothering the ordinary Ghanaian.
Few weeks ago, he took to Twitter, addressing issues of poor African leadership in a litany of posts.
In one of his posts, he suggested that what could possibly be the solution to Africa’s problems is a dictatorship.
“What we need at this point might seem like a dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal freedom for a minute, but we need drastic measures to survive,” he tweeted.
“All Die Be Die”, a hip-hop song produced by Ware.
Sarkodie who often raps in his native language Twi rose into limelight in 2015 and has remained relevant since.
He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2012 BET Awards, and was nominated in the same category at the 2014 BET Awards.
“I got a call to Style Sarkodie by a director I had previously worked with. Since I wasn’t really a fan of his music, I was a little on the edge. It was more like emotions v’s Money.” She said with a smile. “I obviously choose money! But imagine being on set and you are there to style somebody you don’t like? It was so funny because he noticed it too.
To cut a long story short, he was so fun to be around and my opinion completely changed. He then became my client after I styled him for “Tonga – Joey B Ft Sarkodie.” Sark is more or less my Big brother now.” Shared by Trendy Rail on her first working experience with Sarkodie.
Apart from Sarkodie, Trendy has worked with other West African superstars like Stonebwoy,
Wande Coal, Koredo Bello, Kuami Eugene, Kidi and MzVee.
A new trend dubbed #10YearChallenge evolved last week which has seen many celebrities sharing their throwback pictures as far back as a decade ago.

Tracy took to her official Instagram page and shared a video to chronicle their journey
so far in a representation of their side of the story when it comes to the challenge.
Rapper Sarkodie and wife, Tracy’s love story is one that has over the years been envied and loved by many.

Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has disclosed that he would have fallen prey to
people who asked him to “go somewhere” literally meaning-seeking juju protection when
he kick-started his career in music if not for his strong faith in God.
Sarkodie is undoubtedly one of the most successful rappers in Africa and his exploits in the music industry both in Ghana and Africa is incomparable.
Speaking to Accra-based Hitz FM in an interview, the rapper indicated that; “I survived in life just basically because of believing in this man up there”.
He mentioned that; “They were talking about going to certain places to drink this type of water and you will meet somebody, they will ask you something that you do and then people will love your music, they will follow you”.
“But as a child of God, you need to believe in your faith and that is what I did.”
According to him, he was not swayed to follow the world but rather built his hope in the word of God because of his strong faith in God.
Multiple awards-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has posited in an interview how he
repels politics.
According to the ‘Highest’ album maker, he doesn’t hope to become a ‘politician, but would
love to serve in any other leadership position in the future.
The rapper who has received countless prophecies earmarking him for greatness said in an interview on Hitz FM that he would love to be a leader in Ghana in the future but has no plans of joining any political party.
Touching on the subject, he noted, “I don’t like the tag politician. I would love to be a leader of something”.
On if or not he will align himself soon with a political party, he responded, “I will not be part of any political party”.
Sarkodie though not affiliated to any political party nor a card bearing member of one, have in
the past registered his dissatisfaction with the performance of the erstwhile Mahama led
government and have in the few years ranted on Twitter about the ill done by the current Nana Addo government just like any well-meaning Ghanaian will do.
It’s a new year and everyone is reminiscing on things that happened in 2018.
Whiles some are happy with the way things went in 2018, others are optimistic for better things this year.
There were some big moments such as weddings, especially those of our celebrities which made 2018 a memorable one.
One of such weddings was that of rapper Sarkodie and his wife Tracy.
The two had been going out for ages and yet Sarkodie seemed reluctant to get married.
Whiles some believed their ten years of dating was too much for Sarkodie to marry her,
others believed Tracy was the woman made from heaven for the rap icon.
Though many had been expecting them to get marry more than years ago, the big day finally arrived at the latter parts of 2018 taking many people by surprise.
Taking to social media, Tracy has shared how her journey went through last year, thanking all who made it memorable.
But it seems not only Ghanaian and fans of the ‘Highest’ album maker were taken aback by his marriage.
Tracy herself seems to have been taken by surprise that Sarkodie finally got the nerve to marry her after dating for over a decade. In her new year message, Tracy admits that going into 2018, she never knew she was going to get married!
Tracy also hoped this year would be much better than last year.
International awards-winning Ghanaian rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, known in showbiz
circles as Sarkodie revealed that he sometimes forget his own lyrics when performing.
According to him, what he remembers are his hit songs which he normally hear them played.
Sark made this revelation in an interview on Wednesday on Accra Based Hitz FM.
“I always forget, what helps me to remember are the ones that really hit, so then I can’t run away from it, Andy plays some, which I always keep hearing them, those ones I can’t miss and my fans know them already so it’s easy for me,” he said.
The “Can’t let you go” hitmaker however explained that, he easily forgets his songs
that are not popular, adding that his songs are many to remember all lyrics in each song.
“I always forget because there are lot, the ones that I don’t hear them played from back to back. I can’t perform them.”
He also added that his professionalism in music will make his fans not realize when he misses certain lyrics in his songs, saying, “I’m a bit professional so you might not see if I miss it…”
The rapper however stated that it is worst for an artiste to think of lyrics when performing.
He says the reason why he wants this meeting to be arranged is that to hold discussion on why ‘things are hard’ in the country.
“I need one on one with the president and people in power to have a convo on the economy if there’s a long-term plan that’s causing the hardship now or things are hard for no reason… else inflation x Masses Part 2,” he tweeted.

Their delivery has however left many music lovers asking whether Sarkodie is going to sign
any of these talented lyricists onto his Sarkcess Music label like he did with Strongman and Akwaboah.
In an interview today with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Sarkodie however revealed that he
can’t sign any of them unto his record label.
According to Sark, he’s reluctant to sign and shape the career of these rising artists but is ever ready to help them in any way possible.
“Signing any of the artists I featured on Biibi Ba will be hard for me now. However, I will be there for them if they need verses on their tracks,” Sarkodie said in the interview.
This however, wouldn’t be her first time hosting the show.
In a Tweet, the rapper wrote; “SarkNation we present to you your Official Host (MC) for #RapperHolic18 The one and only @thenanaaba by popular demand”

Sarkcess Music boss, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie has asked
the police to arrest him if he breaks the law of the country.
According to him, he is ever ready to surrender to the laws whenever he breaks any.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz Fm, he narrated a situation of such kind when a police
officer once busted him for breaking a traffic rule.
According to the ‘Highest’ album maker, he was once travelling with his wife, Tracy Sarkcess
with his daughter, Titi, and their last hour preparation for the trip got them so late for their flight.
He recounted that due to their lateness they experienced heavy traffic on the Spintex Road and in an attempt to beat it to quickly catch up with their check-in time, he veered off the main road to use an unauthorized lane and before he realized a Police Officer chased him with a motorbike ordering him to stop.
The rapper said he parked and fans came around begging the officer to spare him but the officer hesitated.
During his conversation, Sarkodie added that he was quite happy the officer acted so because he was ready to surrender to the law so that it serves as a deterrence to others.
For this purpose, the Sarkcess Boss told the host that Ghanaian Police officers should always feel free to arrest him whenever he breaks the law.
He adds that Shatta Wale made disrespectful comments severally about him on social media instead of calling him to address the issue.
“If he is a friend that you keep in touch with all the time and he keeps passing comments on social media all in the name of showbiz, how would you feel?”
I get it. It’s showbiz but we have a friendship to keep. As much as I would want to do showbiz, there are some things that I would like to call you personally and resolve” he said
“Shatta Wale is not doing anything wrong by showing off, let me be clear on that. Bragging is part of showbiz. But bragging is not for every brand because you should know your brand positioning and what works for your brand.
Bragging is not for me, it does not work with me,” he noted.
Sark further added: “But there are things you can brag about, but you don’t brag when you are pushing others down. It’s showbiz but don’t try to step on other people. And these are things we have discussed on the phone many times.”
Earlier this year, Shatta Wale during one of his ‘crazy’ moments launched massive attacks
against Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese and other artists, claiming they were poor and struggling in the
industry. After getting fed up, Sarkodie slammed Wale in ‘My Advice’ in which he cut him down
to size with a sizzling freestyle. Whilst one might think the two artists are beefing, Sark insists they are actually very close.
“The fact is I’m not into this fake industry thing so I don’t really open up to people but I’m really cool with Shatta just as it was with Castro.
The truth is I do care about him (Shatta), my mum talks to the both of us on phone and we can be on phone for hours,” he concluded.
US-based Ghanaian socialite, Archipalago gone hard on rapper Sarkodie concerning how he deals with issues regarding Shatta Wale.
According to Archipalago, Sarkodie has zero confidence when it comes to him dealing with dancehall icon, Shatta Wale.
Archipalago’s outburst follows a video shared by Sarkodie on Instagram of his last
year Rapperholic Concert which had Shatta Wale and Jay Foley as MCs for the event.
Some social media users after Sarkodie posted the video trolled him saying he posted the video because he has missed Shatta Wale and has even begged to be friends with him again.
However, ‘social media noise maker’ Archipalago also took to his Instagram page as he
went hard on Sarkodie for been scared of Shatta Wale but just acting as if he is not.
He added that Sarkodie has always been preaching about confidence but when it comes to issues involving Shatta Wale his confidence varnishes.
He shared a picture of himself on his Instagram page with the caption…
“Just saw Sarkodie posted a video that has Shatta in it.. smh like he dey need the guy for “the numbers” huh thought he got his numbers already! ?????He keeps talking about confidence but when it comes to dealing with Shatta Wale he has none!”
International awards-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has shared his
views on the current state of the African economy.
For the past 15 hours, he has been venting
The ‘Highest’ album maker through a series of tweets has shared his
displeasure at how African leaders have failed their people.
In one of his posts, he suggested that what could possibly be the solution to
Africa’s problems is dictatorship.
“What we need at this point might seem like dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal [sic] freedom for a minute but we need drastic measures to survive,” he tweeted.
It is evident that ‘Gbooza’ hitmaker is worried about Ghanaians reposing their
hope in foreigners, especially those that led them into colonialism in the past.
In another tweet, he wrote: “We can’t be taking orders from the oppressor… it will never be in our favor.”
Making more allusions to the penchant to defer to powers from foreign lands, he tweeted:
“Lemme predict what’s gonna happen: they will come in with money to buy our rights again and build their labels here … sign 90% of us and control the revenue… And our survival instincts might not help with the best decisions.”
He further noted that he was looking forward to detoxing the younger
generation of ill intentions and rather empower the next generation.
“At this point , to make a change , let’s forget about the older generation, even our generation and impact the next,” he added.
He cited the aggression by the younger generation of musicians in breaking boundaries as an spirit worthy of emulation.
“Let me use music as an example: African music has been in existence for a long time but why is the world paying attention now??? Because at this point we took things into our hands, United and invaded… wasn’t an individual,” he stated.
“Those feelings are coming back again as always … My dream is for Africa to realize our power and care for our people … We need to take our pride back,” he said in another post.
Meanwhile,Sarkodie has been very opinionated on issues of governance and leadership.
In the past he has done songs about pertinent issues plaguing society, he has
taken leaders on for their mistakes and given hope to the youth in similar compositions.
He is currently out with a cypher ‘Biibiba’ which features 10 up and coming
