Roverman Productions is set to thrill fans with another fun-packed, hilarious and educative stage play.
Owned by the renowned playwright, James Ebo Whyte, Roverman has over the years treated fans of stage plays with artistic stage plays.
Featuring in the play is Ghanaian singer-songwriter and actress, Bertha Bridget Kankam aka YaaYaa.
YaaYaa, will be starring in the play dubbed “Special Delivery” as one of the four main characters.
She will play the role of an alcoholic mother, whose parents did not allow her to marry the love of her life.
According to the playwright Uncle Ebo, as he’s affectionately called, YaaYaa was granted entry into the cast, merely for attending its audition and not for her fame.
For him, it was an indication that despite being a recording artist, she was passionate about being part of the play.
“There are people who appear before me in auditions and I don’t ask them any questions, their presence alone tells me something and that’s what happened with YaaYaa”, James Ebo Whyte disclosed.
The ‘Life’ hitmaker on the other hand expressed her gratitude to the Roverman family and urged her fans to watch out for her.
“I am really honored to be part of the Roverman Family. Learning so much already. And I’m really eager to experience how far I can be stretched to bring out all the creativity inside of me. Fans should get ready for more adventures with me as I explore other fields other than music, say drama? Dance? Who knows, maybe modelling too”, she said.
Pressing on, she shed more light on her hit song ‘Life’ . According to her, fans should watch out for the visuals for the song which she’ll be releasing soon. ”The video will be released soon, my fans should also watch out for that”, She said.
YaaYaa is popular for her songs such as ‘Dumb Drum’, ‘Incredible’, ‘Kae’, ‘Koryor’, etc.
