Ebony’s Death Humbled Me More Than My Father’s – Reggie Rockstone

Ace Ghanaian Rapper, Reggie Rockstone has revealed that one of the deaths he that has shaken him to the core in his entire life is that of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.

According to the Hiplife Grandpapa, not even the death of his father humbled him like that of

the late Ebony Reigns who died in a tragic road accident last year on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.

The legendary rapper disclosed that the singer who was soaring higher and higher by the day,

was a family member known to his wife and visited his office each time she was less busy.

Reggie made this revelation during an interview on Hammer Time on Pure Morning Drive

(Pure 95.7MHz in Kumasi) with Hammer.

He also revealed that he was the first person to hand a microphone to Ebony Reigns as the ‘90’s bad gyal’ described him as her role model.

“Even my wife saw Ebony as a family. Everyone that knows me or her can verify that almost on any day Ebony was free, she was at my place (Rockstone’s office). We were very close. I have grown and seen many deaths including that of my dad’s but Ebony’s death humbled me. I couldn’t believe it and it’s one of my painful experience in life.” He recounted.

The Granpapa further noted that, Ebony always came to him for advice anytime she felt down

in the music industry and he will forever remember her for her humble character.

“Hammer you know I wasn’t raised spiritual so I’m not saying this from a spiritual point of view but from my years of experience in life and the music industry. Fame can make you play around but you need to wise up at a point and be spiritually minded. This is a fact, believe me or not.” He said.

Reggie Rockstone Takes Off Dreadlocks For Movie Role(PHOTO)

Hiplife ‘Grandfather’ Reggie Rockstone has been spotted without his dreadlocks of many years.

The rapper in a latest post on social media was seen at a barbering shop without his usual

long dreads.

Dreadlocks has been a prominent feature of his brand since he got into the music industry.

He shared a photo on Instagram with a hand holding scissors to his head.

The picture shows him in a down-cut hair style.

Even though he did not give details of the haircut, he captioned the post ‘call the police’ with

the hashtags “#done, #movierole, #saytay”, suggesting that he might have cut off the locks for a movie role.

In 2013, a similar photo went viral on social media suggesting that he had cut his locks but he came out to refute it.

Since he posted the photo a lot of people have reacted, with some expressing their disappointment in the ‘dread-loss’.

I’m Now Ageless – Reggie Rockstone

Godfather of Hiplife Reginald Osei, popularly known as Reggie Rockstone has declared that he is ageless now.

According to  him, each day is a birthday for him and therefore there is no reason for him to set aside a specific day to celebrate himself.

He further indicated that he is grateful to God for his life and the fact that he has been able to impact his generation and the ones after him.

Reggie Rockstone was speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM to Mr. Katah.

“I’m now like Mzbel, I’m sweet sixteen. Sometimes I am thirty-two, sometimes 20. All I want to say is that I’m ageless now and I celebrate my birthday every day. I am always grateful that I have life.”

Reggie Rockstone Notices What Ghanaians Most When Stucked In Traffic (Video)

Godfather of Ghanaian hiplife, Reggie Rockstone has expressed his disgust at how many people ‘pick their nose’ when they are stucked in traffic

The artiste, who took to his official Instagram page with of video of himself caught in a traffic jam locally referred to as ‘go slow’ said he couldn’t help but noticed that many people pick their nose most when they are caught in traffic. “I’ve counted not less than four or five people digging inside their nose as if they are digging for gold”.

The ‘koliko’ hit maker further referred to the act as ‘nasty’. He went on to ask ” why do you people like picking your nose in traffic….do you think no one sees you when you do that”.

He further said that because someone is rich doesn’t mean the person has got style because some if the houses along the road sides are hideous and without style and that he could almost tell which one of those buildings belonged to a drug dealer, a doctor or a lawyer.

Gh Not ‘Geehate’-Reggie Rockstone

Grandpapa of Ghana Hiplife, Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, known in the music industry as Reggie Rockstone has been in the news for some days now being criticized for his ‘slangs’

People took to social media to lambaste him for his ‘lafa’ which was said to be fake.

Following this, Reggie has come out with videos  explaining to Ghanaians that his ‘slang’ is very original since he was born and lived outside the country for a while.

In a recent video post on Instagram, The Hiplife Grandpapa,who was clad in a black spectacle with  Red Adidas cup and attire said ” people get upset at the least thing to the point of getting angry at him even for putting on Adidas clothes how much more his ‘slang’.  He further stated that he is not perturbed about whatever people were speculating concerning his accent but indicated clearly that he is for peace. That instead of people getting angry at some things they should rather concentrate on making Ghana a better place in the West. He captioned the video as; ‘I NO VEX  I JUS HAD TO GET IT OF MY CHEST YALL TAKE OVER AND DO THE REST SO GH BECOMES THE BEST IN THE WEST…..OF AFRICA PEACE GH NOT ” GEEHATE”‘

Reggie Rockstone Salutes Sarkodie

The ‘Grandpapa of Ghana Hiplife’ Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, popularly known in showbiz circles as Reggie Rockstone has saluted The King Of Hip-hop Sarkodie on his ‘HIGHEST’ album.

The congratulatory message follows a picture of Reggie on his Instagram Page with the name of the Rapper ‘Sark’ beautifully inscribed on a white wall behind Reggie with his hand pointing towards the inscription as he beautifully smiles.

The picture is captioned “CONGRATS ON A GREAT JOB SIR
GOOD WORK!THE HIGHEST IS AS THE TITLE SEZ! ALL PRAISE DUE THE HIGHEST FOR YOUR GIFT! SALUTATIONS AND GH GOT YOU.

The ‘Highest’ which was released on the 8th of this month of September is Sarkodie’s fifth album of his lucrative music career. The album is a collection of 15 brand new songs, three interludes and a bonus track thereby making a total of 19 songs and features some major local and international acts.
The album has as usual been wholeheartedly accepted and loved by all hip-hop lovers across the globe.
