Nyantakyi Never Paid Me For My Black Stars Campaign Songs – Grace Ashie

One musician who has always been very supportive of the Ghana Black Stars teams over the years is Gospel Musician, Grace Ashie.

She has on several occasions composed various campaign songs for the team.

Some of which include CAN 2008 and World Cup 2014, both under the leadership of the embattled GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

One would however think that sll this while, she’s being paid for the songs.

But the Gospel musician has revealed that she was not paid a pesewa for the songs she composed for the Black Stars.

Grace Ashie, who is popularly called Obaa Yaa, was speaking in an interview with Mr. Handsome on GH Entertainment on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM.

According to her, she used her own finances to produce all her campaign songs. She also added that she even hard to pay for travel expenses to support the national team during their participation at the previous world games.

The musician further expressed her happiness at the exposé by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, which she described as sad, disgraceful and disgusting.

“I was not scared about the Anas exposé because since 2006 till now, Kwesi Nyantakyi never paid me a coin for any of the songs I produced for the national team. I am daring the former GFA boss to deny or confirm my claims. The GFA did not pay me a penny. I always gave him my songs, he will play the songs but he will not pay me. He will only commend my efforts but never gave me a pesewa,” she said.

“The GFA never paid for any of my travel expenses. You can call him and find out for yourself. I was never paid. I was always going to the GFA but I was never paid a penny,” she added.

She however revealed that ‘’my love for the nation and her patriotic act led me to compose these songs’’despite not being paid.

Obaa Yaa further disclosed that, she used her own resources to pay all those she contracted to support her in the songs she composed.

She has also demanded for an audit into the activities of the GFA. This, according to her, is because she believes they budgeted for what she did but never received a pesewa from GFA.

The embattled President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) has finally spoken about Anas’ latest exposé.

Screening of the latest work of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas took place in Accra on June 6 and 7 respectively.

Anas and his Tiger Eye Pi team have titled this work, Number 12. The work, centers on some corrupt GFA officials taken bribe for match fixing among other things.

The GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was not exempted from this video as he played a major part.

Many have since been criticising the GFA president and other officials who were caught culpable in the video.

Meanwhile, Kwesi Nyantakyi has finally spoken about the video which he has referred to as ‘copy and paste’ and ‘defamation’.

Kwesi Nyantakyi, in an interview with supersports  revealed that, he never knew the people he was engaging in the discussions with, were undercover reporters.

He also denied reports of Blackstars Match fixing allegations.

According to him, the ‘supposed’ investors throughout their discussions never spoke about match-fixing.

He therefore accused Anas of cutting and pasting the full discussion he had with them and bringing out only the parts that sweetens their purpose. Thus, to disgrace and tarnish his name in front of the public.,

#Number12: Captain Smart Shocks Everyone, Says Nyantakyie Did Nothing Wrong(Video)

Suspended radio presenter with Adom FM, Captain Smart has made the most shocking comment about Kwesi Nyantakyi in Anas’ Number 12 video.

According to Captain Smart, he doesn’t see anything wrong with the role Kwesi Nyantakyi played in the famous Number 12 exposé.

As a result, the embattled GFA President might end up a free man soon.

Captain Smart’s comments have have shocked many Ghanaians because, he is believed to be a strong anti-corruption fighter.

He further stated that Nyantakyi was only enticing the ‘supposed’ investors to come and do business in the country.

The controversial host made these comments yesterday in an interview on TV Africa’s Breakfast Live with Nikki Samonas.

“I am not a lawyer but the man says that come and do business when you’re coming to bring this and we will give it to this person or that person. You should know that he didn’t implicate anybody from what I saw, he just said something that could entice somebody to come and do business.”He said.

He however added that, the only thing that compromises Kwesi Nyantakyi was where he promised to pay a certain amount of monies. Which(according to Nyantakyi) would be through his company in the circumstance of an impending sponsorship for the Ghana Premier League.

“The only problem I had with Kwesi was when he said, we will establish a company and you will pay the monies through my company and between 20%-25%, we will share so that there will be peace. What kind of peace is he talking about? Is it the corruptible peace or what type of peace? Again that the money will be paid through his private company which is a conflict of interest.” He added.

It Wasn’t Me: Eddie Doku Denies Taking Bribe As He Readies His Lawyers

We earlier reported of Anas latest investigative exposé in which the Former Chairman of the Black Stars B Management Committee Eddie Doku was captured taking bribe.

The premiere of the Number 12,which took place on Wednesday, captures Mr. Doku, agreeing to push for the involvement of the player after receiving an unspecified amount of money.

The video captures Doku taking money an unspecified amount of money from the undercover reporter from Tiger Eye. He takes the money, unwraps it and splits the cash into the left, right and back pockets of his suit.

However, Mr. Doku, who is currently out of the country has come out to deny being the one in the video.

Eddie Doku has dismissed the claims and has threatened legal action upon return from Iceland. This he said will commence upon his return from Iceland where he is supervising the Black Stars’ friendly game against the Strákarnir okkar.

Good Morning all. I normally do not encourage anything like this on this platform. But please allow me this once.

I am with the Black Stars in Iceland and received a video clip of myself in the Anas series receiving money in the open in front of the RFA office.

Please, it is not true what the caption says, that I am being bribed to influence the selection of Patrick Razak into the Black Stars B.

I am simply telling you, who serves as chairman, the truth is that I was not taking a bribe as the video seeks to portray. My lawyers are taking the matter up. I shall be back on Saturday, God willing. At least I owe you this.

Opanka rides on the latest exposé by investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

He even portrays himself as the most feared and most talked about investigative journalist.

He talks of who he believes Anas is and his roles in exposing corrupt officials.

Opanka however hints that he(as Anas) next target is the churches.

GFA Breaks Silence On Anas’ #Number12

The first screening of Anas’ Number 12 yesterday in Accra has indeed generated a lot of tensions.

Officials caught on tape taking bribe are in ‘hot soup’. Ghanaians have also reacted to the video in diverse ways.

The Ghana Football Association(GFA), which is currently the center of attention in the country have also reacted to the video.

The GFA has taken to its official website to react to the premiering of the work of Anas Aremeyaw.

Anas’ latest exposé dubbed #Number12 captures many of its official were seen taking bribes.

The football gorverning body has requested Tiger Eye to;

“as a matter of urgency” furnish them with all recorded materials on the documentary to enable them forward

“it to the appropriate quarters for further investigations”.

The GFA has also asked “the football fraternity to remain calm and provide us with all the support we need as we bid to restore confidence and trust in our beautiful game”.

Below is the full reaction as published by the GFA:

The Ghana Football Association (GFA)’s attention has been drawn to the airing of a documentary by Tiger Eye PI alleging acts of corruption by some match officials and senior officials of the federation.

The GFA was not provided with an opportunity to watch the premiering of the documentary as it was neither provided with an advanced copy of the said documentary nor furnished with tickets by Tiger Eye PI to watch the airing.

Though the GFA did not commission Tiger Eye PI to undertake this exercise and have not been provided with the opportunity of watching the documentary, we view the allegations circulating in the media very seriously and would wish to take immediate steps to address them.

To this end we believe its only fair and proper that Tiger Eye furnishes us with the said documentary and hereby request Tiger Eye as a matter of urgency to furnish us with all the recorded material on this documentary to enable us forward it to the appropriate quarters for further investigations.

The GFA wishes to emphasise that it is an association incorporated under the laws of Ghana and as such governed by the laws of Ghana as well as its own Rules and Regulations. It is also affiliated to CAF and FIFA.

The GFA wishes to place on record that, there will be no attempt of a cover-up or shield any of our members caught in alleged acts of corruption.

The GFA wishes to assure all that as an institution it does not condone any manner of corrupt practices.

We wish to put on record that eight months ago, we got evidence of some external influences seeking to manipulate matches in our various competitions.

As soon as it became clear to us that we were facing the possibility of some external influences seeking to destroy the sanctity of the game in Ghana, we wrote to FIFA seeking assistance to help combat this menace.

The action we took was in furtherance of the GFA’s desire to fight against match manipulation and maintain the integrity of our game and federation.

We received a full FIFA response few days later, with an action plan on how we can fight the menace of match manipulation through a roadmap for the implementation of the national integrity initiative.

We are still working with FIFA Integrity Department to find the appropriate dates for the action to help educate our members on the dangers of this menace.

The GFA will subsequently be undertaking a holistic review and continue with our reforms geared towards the enhancement of its operations in dealing with alleged acts of corruption in the game.

We urge the football fraternity to remain calm and provide us with all the support we need as we bid to restore confidence and trust in our beautiful game.

#Number 12: Meet The Two GFA Officials Who Rejected Anas’ Bribe

The first screening of Anas latest exposé took place yesterday June 6, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Center.

Many Ghanaians trooped in there to watch how the wind was blown off the ‘anus’ of some corrupt officials at the Ghana Footaball Association(GFA).

The video, put together by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas  and his Tiger Eye Pi team is indeed, a bombshell.

The video allegedly captures 77 Ghanaian referees and 14 GFA officials for engaging in acts of corruption.

However, as with most corruption documentaries by Anas, a few individuals are celebrated for their honesty as a result of rejecting bribes.

They are Executive Committee Members of the GFA, Kweku Eyiah and John Frederick (JF) Mensah.

The two have been revealed as the two men who stood up against being bribed in the exposé titled – #Number 12.

According to a report by the Daily Graphic, the two men resisted the attempts to be compromised.

Both are members of the GFA Executive Committee with Eyiah serving as a Divison One Representative.
Mr. Mensah,on the other hand serves as a Premier League Representative.

Ayiah, a lawyer is the Management Committee Chairman of the national U-17 team, the Black Starlets.

He led the team to the 2017 FIFA World Cup in India where they suffered a quarter-final heartbreak as they were beaten 2-1 by African champions Mali.

Experienced match commissioner, JF Mensah is a Geodetic Engineer who has rich experience in football and business administration, project management, tourism and good working knowledge in accounting.

Popularly known as JF in football circles, he has served as Board Secretary for Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs.

Mr Mensah has served as member of the Players Status Committee from January 2015 to date.

He has also served as;

*Member of the Premier League Board (March 2006 — December, 2014).

*Secretary of the then Organisation of the Ghana League Clubs Association (OGLCA) for more than 15 years.

*Past member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA),

among many other sub-committees of the GFA.

He has chalked a lot of successes as a management member of Dwarfs. This saw the club participate in the CAF Cup Competitions on two occasions between the years 2000 and 2014. J.F also played a key role as a member of the Premier League Board (PLB). Which adopted effective strategies and implemented new initiatives. This led to a lot of transformations in the Board between the years 2006 and 2014.

As the Vice Chairman of the PLB Awards Committee, he played a key role which successfully organised the events. Thus from the 2010/2011 to the 2013/2014 football seasons.

Mr Mensah has also worked as the General Manager of the Ghana Tourist Development Company Limited in Accra.

#Number12 premiere

The eagerly anticipated documentary will show at the Accra International Conference Center on June 6-7, 2018. There will be four(4) screenings each day: 3pm, 5pm, 8pm & 10pm.

The video will also show at the new GCB Auditorium at KNUST  in Kumasi on June 9 and 10, 2018.

The people of Tamale will have their turn to watch the video at Radach Hotel on June 13, 2018.

Those in Takoradi will have the opportunity at Akroma Plaza on June 16, 2018.

Anas Exposé: Watch How Gt Accra FA boss Was Caught On Camera Taking Bribe

Greater Accra Regional FA boss, Eddie Doku, has been caught on tape taking a bribe to influence game time.

This was for a player in the Black Stars Team B during the 2017 WAFU Zone B tournament.

Mr Doku, was captured taking bribe to ensure Hearts of Oak sprinter Patrick Razak enjoys more playing time.

Eddie Doku, is also the Chairman of the Black Stars B team. He was caught on camera receiving an unspecified amount of money to influence a regular match playing time in the team.

In the tape, Doku is seen taking money from the undercover reporter from Tiger Eye. Doku takes the money, unwraps it and splits the cash into the left, right and back pockets of his trousers.

In an odd act, he hands the wrapper, which he has now crumpled, back to the undercover reporter.

This, also was at the 2017 WAFU Tournament which as staged in Ghana.

The Anas Aremeyaw Anas #12 documentary was premiered yesterday at the Accra International Conference Center.

The second screening is today, Thursday, June 7, 2018. There will be four sets of screenings: 3 pm, 5 pm, 8 pm and 10 pm.

Meanwhile People in Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi are also eagerly awaiting their turn to watch the video after the premiere in Accra on separate dates.

Anas Exposé: Few Hours To Go, Watch Trailer For ‘Number 12’

The trumpets are sounding and the judgement day has finally come. Today, June 6, 2018 would be marked as the ‘worst’ day for all who will be found wanted in Anas latest exposé on corruption.

The die is cast and it’s left with just some few hours for ‘Number 12’ to hit the big screen.

‘Number 12’ is the documentary by Anas delving into corruption in football and politics in Ghana.

The exposé is already butterflies to fly in some people’s stomachs.

So far, the GFA President has been implicated in the video. But the big question, who are the others?

And what would be their fate in just a couple of minutes away?

The investigative piece, which is said to be on football and politics, is set to be premiered in Accra on 6th and 7th June.
Kumasi will be on 9th and 10th June, Tamale on 13th June and in Takoradi on 16th 2018.

Anas Exposé: Tickets Run Out For #Number 12 Screening At Citi FM Due To Mad Rush(PHOTOS)

The latest exposé on corruption by investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is currently the number trending news across the nation.

As the saying goes, seeing is believing and the days are fast approaching for the screening of the latest work, ‘Number 12’.

Everyone wants to see for himself the details of all that the video entails on the ‘big day’ of screening.

The latest exposé by Anas and his Tiger Eye team of centers of the Ghana Football Association(GFA).

As it stands, tickets for the screening are out and one of the outlets to get a copy from is Citi FM.

But reports suggest that the tickets available at that outlet run out yesterday.

This is due to ‘mad rush’ by people to get their copies. Some of them also expressed their eagerness to watch the video.

The first premiere of the documentary will be on June 6 at the Accra International Conference Center.

Details of the documentary’s content first emerged back in April.

Later, the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako gave a hint about the video.

This was on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana, that the exposé would capture some key players at the GFA.

But anticipation for the Anas’ documentary however heightened later due to a complaint filed by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

The President was reported to have filed a complaint at the CID of the Ghana Police Service. This was after a security briefing on the upcoming exposé.

The exposé implicated President of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantaky, in alleged corruption.

Kwesi Nyantakyi is said to have used the name of the President, his vice and other senior officers of the government unlawfully.

According to reports, Mr. Nyantakyi allegedly used the names of these personalities to collect money. And to as well lure supposed foreign investors interested in establishing businesses in Ghana.

More officials are expected to be implicated in corruption when the full documentary is screened.

#Number12: Anas Exposing Corrupt Officials Is A Good Cause – Sarkodie

Celebrated Ghanaian Rapper, Sarkodie has praised the efforts of ace investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas on his consistency at fighting corruption.

The ‘End Time’ rapper in a live Facebook session over the weekend also endorsed Anas’ modus operandi.

According to Sark, he supports Anas’ method because it puts one on his toes.

Meanwhile, Anas’ method of gathering evidence has been questioned by Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.

But the SarkCess Music Boss seems to concord with majority of Ghanaians who see nothing wrong with it.

“Anas is exposing corruption which we all support. I think it’s very good. You know, he puts people on their toes,” stated Sarkodie.

“It makes you not want to cut corners because you don’t know who is watching. So I support it … For now I think he is on the right path.”

He however declined to comment on the ranging controversy between Anas and Kennedy Agyapong, Assin Central MP.

Anas’ latest exposé is about the corruption amongst top officials in Ghanaian football circles. Titled ‘Number 12’ it will be screened on Wednesday, June 6 and Thursday June 7, 2018.
