Mariam Owusu-Poku Wins Miss Malaika 2018(PHOTOS,VIDEO)

The grande Finale of the 2018 edition of Miss Malaika pageantry came off on Saturday,

November 3, 2018 at the National Theatre in Accra.

The night however saw Mariam Owusu-Poku walk away with the enviable crown and title as Miss Malaika Ghana 2018.

Mariam is a Business Administration student at the University of Ghana.

She beat off stiff competition from nine other contestants to emerge winner.

The 2018 Miss Malaika final had a star-studded cast with Joselyn Dumas,Jackie Appiah,

Naa Ashorkor, James Gardiner and Lexis Bill constituting the judging panel.

All 10 finalists of the competition took turns to perform, gave various speeches

and cat-walked gorgeously in their elegant apparels in a bid to impress the judges.

However, it was Mariam who shined brightest at the end of it all as she was crowned the

new queen of the pageantry.

Evelyn also emerged as the 1st runner-up, while Rosetta came in third-place at the

2018 Miss Malaika contest.

The grand finale however witnessed performances from the likes of Mzvee,

Wendy Shay, Kuami Eugene and Kidi.

MzVee, Kuami Eugene, Others To Rock Miss Malaika Finals

The National Theatre in Accra will on November 3 once again witness the crowning of

another queen for the 2018 edition of Miss Malaika pageant show.

The grand finale promises to be fun-packed and a night of surprises because all the

contestants will be involved in various tasks to prove themselves worthy to be crowned Miss Malaika.

Aside the  16 young ladies thrilling patrons with their performances for the nights,

some artistes will also be there to shake the stage.

There will be live performances from MzVee, Kwame Eugene, Kidi and Wendy Shay.

The contestant with the highest votes will get an automatic top five spot at the grand

finale and one step away from winning the crown, car and the cash on November 3.

The 16th edition of the Miss Malaika Ghana is produced by Charterhouse.

The semi-final auditions for Ghana’s revered pageantry, Miss Malaika Ghana 2018 came off over the weekend.

Actress Jackie Appiah was also present there not as a contestant though.

Media Personalities, Naa Ashorkor, Joselyn Dumas and Berla Mundi joined her as judges for the day.

These four gorgeous ladies took their respective seats as panel of judges for the pageantry preliminaries.

They were selected as judges to oversee the selection of ladies who make the cut for this year’s Miss Malaika pageantry.

Aside the ladies eloquence in asking questions, another thing worthy of note was their outfits.

The four ladies were however looking radiant in colorful African print dresses which were just hard to ignore.
