Ghana Needs More Cinemas To Revive Movie Industry- Martha Ankomah

Beautiful actress Martha Ankomah, has stated that one of the ways Ghana can revive it’s collapsing movie industry is by putting up more cinemas.

She made this suggestion when she was speaking at the launch of the 6th Session of Actors, Presenters, Professionals and Musicians for Christ.

According to her, the sale of movies has been tremendously low in recent times and that the only way to arrest the situation is to build more cinemas to market and promote new movies.

“If we could get investors who will set up cinemas, it will help revive our collapsed industry. In Nigeria, the CD business has gone down… we have just about three cinemas in Ghana but in Nigeria, Lagos alone has about 35 cinemas. They even want more to sustain their industry,” she said.

The event launch which is being organized by the Timothy Bentum Ministries is scheduled to come off on the 8th of December,2017  at the Accra International Conference Center.
