Just as there are several radio stations across the country, so are there many presenters who work for these stations.
Each of these on-air personalities has his/her own unique style of presentation.
This styles however, tend to differentiate them from each other. It has also won for them ardent listeners who would’t go miss a day’s program for anything in the world.

We bring you 6 top male radio presenters currently located in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

1. Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi(Bola Ray)
Popularly known as Bola Ray, he is one of the crème de la crème of Ghana’s airwaves.
He started his radio journey at Top Radio and left for Joy FM to host the Drive Time for 11 years.
He carved a niche for himself, three years ago he shifted camps to Starr F where he is also a co-owner and CEO.
He’s a multi-award winning radio personality, one which is the 2015 Radio and Television Personality of the Year Award.
2. Kwami Sefa Kayi
Another big wit when it comes to hosting on radio is Kwame Sefa Kayi. He is popularly known as ‘Chairman General’.
His radio career started at Radio Gold. After he became a household name, he left for the Despite Group owned Peace FM where he’s been hosting the Morning Show for years now.
He’s was inducted into the Radio and Television personality Hall of Fame last year. This was after winning the coveted award at the RTP Awards for 4 consecutive years.
Last year he was adjudged Best Journalist of the Year by the Ghana Journalist Association.
3. Abeiku Santana
He is known in private life as Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, he’s one presenter who has done a great job since he started radio.
His style of presentation has been copied by many others all over the country but he still wins.
He previously worked with Vibe FM; Accra, Radio Z; Koforidua, Mercury FM; Kumasi, Ash FM; Kumasi, he joined Multimedia’s Adom FM in 2002 where he established himself as the best late afternoon show host with Efie Kwanso.
However, in 2010, Abeiku left Adom FM to join Okay FM where he still hosts the drive time show.
4. Captain Smart
His real name is Blessed Godsbrain Smart. However, he’s best known in radio circles as Captain Smart.
A firebrand radio presenter who carved a niche for himself in the Ashanti region.
He moved to Accra in 2013 to host Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem and he’s just been superb.
5. Lexis Bill
Louis Sakyimah is his real name. He’s had a lot of experience after stings with several radio stations from Focus FM on KNUST campus, Radio Xtacy in Kumasi, right through to Top radio to Hitz FM and now to Joy FM.
He took over the mantle of hosting the Drive Time show on Joy FM after Bola Ray left for Starr FM.
6. Countryman Songo
His real name is Patrick Osei Agyemang, he has been with Multimedia for the past 12 years.
He was with Kumasi-based Love FM, he joined Asempa FM in Accra 2007.
He is currently the host of ‘Fire for Fire’ show on Asempa FM.
