Kuami Eugene Reacts To Allegations Of Sleeping With Wendy Shay

Sensational artiste, Kuami Eugene has finally reacted to the recent allegations leveled against him that he has slept with RuffTown act, Wendy Shay.

A notorious Snapchat page Fatpu$$y055 last week accused the Lynx Entertainmnet artiste of  ‘benging’ colleague musician, Wendy Shay among other allegations.

The Rockstar in a live radio interview on Peace Fm, denied the claims by the notorious snapchat

user saying that the person behind the account is doing all of that for attention.

It was reported that Kuami Eugene was also infected with Gonohoreah by a UPSA student and

also almost chopped down a Chop bar girl when he used the place as a location for his music video shoot.

“I don’t know where this is coming from. Wendy shay is a sister and I know her through Bullet before he signed her

By God’s grace, I have a house so I wouldn’t go to a hotel and moreover, I have never shot a video in a chop bar.

I also don’t know any mechanic called Sam and I feel all this is for attention. This is actually where we find ourselves and it is one of those things“, he disclosed in the interview.

There’s No Beef Between Medikal And I – Kuami Eugene

Awards-winning artiste, Eugene Marfo, popularly known as Kuami Eugene has cleared the air on recent comments he passed about fellow artiste, Medikal .

The ‘Wish Me Well’ hitmaker in a recent comment on social media said that Medikal’s new song “Omo Ada” (Dem sleep) was stupid.

His comments however did not go down well with some fans who descended on him.

During an interview on “One on One with Merqury Quaye” on Hitz FM, Kuami Eugene said he was not insulting the rapper but it was only a playful comment, adding that he was surprised about how people were taking jabs at him.

“Mme and Medikal are like that,” he commented.

In a video posted over the weekend, Kuami Eugene said Medikal likes making useless songs.

When he shared the video, he captioned it “@amgmedikal Dey understand this Game Pass. I sing this song since I first hear am. And I can’t stop #OmoAda. Where are some of our bloggers. Go change my caption for attention.”

This led to harsh comments from some social media users.

Twitter user @EdenGodfred said “He needs to grow he’s too childish. Always criticizing one’s music but when people goes hard on his fashion sense he tends to cry!”

@NanaKojoSlim tweeted, “@KuamiEugene bcos we start dey do you rockstar rockstar so you figa say you bi “ABii the Rockstar”? Kumkum bhagya! Cartoon niqqa wo y3 toy. .@AmgMedikal Omo Ada wati.”

@QwerdjoB tweeted, “Empty barrels makes de most noise…Kwame Eugene is just a kid.”

However, Kuami Eugene said when he first heard the song, he could not stop jamming to it.

He explained Medikal told him in a chat that Ghanaians interest in danceable songs was an influence when creating the song.

“I sent him the video I made first and he laughed and said our country [people] love to dance so you can’t do away with danceable songs,” he added.

He said many people do not understand or know the story behind the what they are seeing;

“I did not understand how a lot of people wanted to jab me. Medikal and I are playing with each other.”

He also revealed that he and the AMG rapper are cool and have about three songs they are yet to release.

Kuami Eugene after social media reaction to his comment was seen singing one of the songs he and Medikal have worked on.

His caption however reads;

 “Now That We’ve Got Their Attention, When Make We Drop Am? #Still #OmoAda. @djnoreuk @AmgMedikal.”

After the video, another Twitter user @don_tsina_young said;

“@KuamiEugene used a smart way to promote his upcoming song with @AmgMedikal he fool yall. As u make your mind set u no go search job do and u always go stay home idle, they will always give you things to talk about.”

But other users had a different opinion. @EdenGodfred said “be wise… so Ghanaian artist can go low to that extreme? @KuamiEugene I’m sad for you.”

@KandyBoyPuma tweeted, “So rydee ebi small samll diss our Ghanaian Artist go take promote demma music?? This is childish oh by the way ebi @AmgMedikal & @KuamiEugene.”

@AbenaSerwa also tweeted, “What is wrong with promoting his stuff??”

Kuami Eugene told Mercury Quaye he and Medikal are planning on shooting the video for their collaboration soon before the release.

I’m SCARED; Need Your Prayers – Kuami Eugene On Doom Prophecies

Sensational hiplife artiste, Kuami Eugene has expressed how the doom prophecies by some prophets for 2019 has caused panic in his life.

According to the ‘Wish Me Well’ hitmaker, he is worried about the prophecies and

has therefore called on his followers to pray for him.

On the night of December 31, Prophet Nigel in a prophecy mentioned that Kuami Eugene,

Kidi and Kwesi Arthur will have a difficult year and may die.

The year 2019 is just a few days from now. Many people have already started reviewing the year 2018. Whiles many believe it was a good year for them, others are still hopeful for the best in 2019.

Now in Ghana each year, artistes are assessed according to their performances in a coveted Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMAs) based on their performances in the previous year.

As the days are fast appraoching, preparations are underway for the event to take place n 2019 as well.

However,even before submission for entries for the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is

opened, some players in the Ghana music industry are tipping Highlife artiste Kuami Eugene

Kuami Eugene Explains Why He Didn’t Feature Kidi On His Album

There are speculations that Lynx Entertainment signed artistes, KiDi and Kuami Eugene

have  started having problems between them.

This follows the absence of KiDi on Kuami Eugene’s soon-to-be-released album.

But Kuami Eugene has come out to debunk such rumors.

During an interview on Wednesday 14th November 2018 on Hitz FM’s Daybreak

‘The Wish Me Well’ hitmaker explained the reason for KiDi’s absence on his album.

Kuami Eugene aired that Kidi is as good a vocalist as himself.

According to the “Angela” hitmaker, the two of them are already working on songs which

will be dropped very soon, hence there was no need to add his voice on his album.

“We are working on a couple of songs so we didn’t find it appropriate to feature him in my album”, he said.

Kuami Eugene was in the studios of Hitz FM to promote his debut album, The ‘Rockstar’ which will officially released on November 15, 2018.

Responding to questions from JoyNews’ MzGee on his recent song with Nigeria’s Davido and his steady growth, Kuami Eugene confessed he could not afford to live beyond his means.

“Life is all about process, I mean I was in Fadama [a suburb of Accra] when Richie Mensah signed me so you don’t expect a boy who just came from Fadama with no money to be buying Louis Vuitton, Gucci and be wearing things that you think a celebrity should be wearing.

“I didn’t have that money so I didn’t want to force myself. Now I am making small money that I can afford things that I like,” he said.

The talented musician added that: “Some months ago I was buying what I can afford and I’m still buying what I can afford.”

“I believe life is a process that is what people didn’t get, they feel I should just jump from who I was to somebody I am not and I cannot afford to do that. I was leaving a real life and I will leave a real life forever.”

Stop Calling Veteran Musicians ‘Expired’ – Kuami Eugene To Ghanaians

Multiple awards-winning artiste, Kuami Eugene is pleading with Ghanaians to stop referring to the old crop of artistes as ‘Expired’.

Most Ghanaians have the habit of “retiring” artistes even before they take a decision to retire.

However, the ‘Wish Me Well’ Hhitmaker says this is a great worry to him as he deems it inappropriate.

Multiple awards-winning singer cum producer, Kuami Eugene has revealed what his greatest aim in life is now.

According to the ‘confusion’ hitmaker, he has got his eyes set on winning the enviable

Sensational musician, Eugene Marfo, best known as Kuami Eugene has debunked rumors that he has hired someone to help him with his choice of clothes.

‘The confusion’ hitmaker has come under a lot of criticisms over his choice of clothes. Many Ghanaians believe that he ‘dresses’ like a secondary school guy.

According to him, his inbox is full of n*de pictures sent to him by women who are trying to showcase their beauty in order to win his attention.

Singer Kumai Eugene has finally showed the to the world the beautiful face of the woman behind his hit song, ‘Angela’.

Kuami after the song became hit said in an interview that ‘Angela’ does exist and had always been grateful to her.

Kuami Eugene Fires Fan On Twitter For Trolling His Dressing

Some social media users have been on the neck of Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene over his sense of fashion for a while now.

The ‘Angela’ hitmaker, has been doing profoundly well since he came into limelight.

However, many seem to have a problem with his style of dressing and have called him out on it numerous times.

This has in one way or the other affected his brand as he always becomes the talk of the day anytime he shares a picture on his social media pages.

However, it seems Kuami is also fed up with the trolls and decided to shush a who questioned his style of dressing this time round.

I Do Good Music – Kuami Eugene

Awards-winning singer and songwriter, Eugene Marfo, known by his stage name, Kuami Eugene has characterized his form of music as “good music”.

In an interview on After Hours With Mikki Osei Berko on TV3, the “Angela” hitmaker described his music as “good music”.

He was responding to a question as to why he switched genres from Gospel to Highlife.

Kuami mentioned that he does “good music” and doesn’t see “himself as a gospel musician or a highlife musician.”

He however categorized that he rather sees himself as a “good musician”.

Kuami Eugene began his musical career at the age of 16 as a gospel musician. He however switched from Gospel and is now a known as a Highlife musician.

Up to date, no one knows the reason why he ditched the Gospel way to make secular music.

The singer during his days as a Gospel act was called Eugene Marfo. But he has also changed that to his current stage name  due to his new genre, Hiplife.

He was also known as the “African Prince of Worship”.

I Never Said I Wanted To Be Like Wizkid, But He Is My Target – Kuami Eugene

Lynx Entertainment artiste, Eugene Marfo, popularly known as Kuami Eugene has debunked reports suggesting that he once said he wants to be like the Nigerian superstar, Wizkid.

According to the Angela hitmaker, that is a total contradiction of what he said.

He made this known in an interview on e.tv Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity show. Kuami Eugene rather explained that what he said was that Wizkid is his target and focus so long his career in music is concerned.

According to him, the CEO of Starboy Entertainment has achieved a lot for himself in music, hence he looks up to him.

“I said Wizkid was my target, he was my focus, not that I want to be like him. He is the target of my career, he has achieved a lot and I want to go that high.” He told host, Foster Romanus when he asked if it was true that he had once stated his desire to be like Wizkid.

Kuami Eugene came into the limelight when he entered the MTN Hitmaker Competition in 2016. He emerged the second-runner up in the season’s finale.

He was signed shortly after to the award-winning Ghanaian record, Lynx Entertainment.

Kuami Eugene rapidly became one of the fastest rising stars in Ghana in 2017. This follows the release of hit singles ‘Ebeyeyie’, ‘Hribaba’, ‘Show Dem’ and ‘Boom Bang Bang’.

But the release of his hit single  ‘Angela’ made him a household name in the Ghanaian music industry.

Kuami Eugene Dedicates His Awards At The VGMAs To His Dearest Mum

Indeed, behind every successful man, there’s always a women. That woman may be your wife, sister, aunt, or mother.

Well, for the man behind the ‘Angela’ song, his mother has been his pillar in his career. As such, the Lynx entertainment artiste did not waste time in dedicating his awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to his mum.

Kuami Eugene took to his Instagram page after the awards to appreciate his mother for all her support.

The ‘Confession’ crooner shared  a photo of him with the awards he bagged at the just ended VGMAs. Beneath the photos, are his words of appreciation to his beloved mother.

From his caption, Kuami Eugene obviously recognizes the immense contributions his mother has made in his life to make him what he is now.

Meanwhile, Kuami had in an earlier interview on GHONE TV revealed that he was a very stubborn child whiles growing up. He added that, his stubborness nearly nearly killed his mother, just like any other mother feels about her child.

According to Kuami Eugene, He recounted how he took french leave from school to town at a time that his mother thought that he was in school.

He said he went to live with one music producer in the Eastern Region all because he wanted to pursue his music career.

When his mom got wind of the fact that her son had left school, she became worried. Her worries however, turned into depression when he was later expelled from the school.

It seems amidst all these, Kuami made a promise to his mother to become a star and make her proud someday.

And surely, he has indeed not disappointed the mother with the path he chose.

He may not have completed his senior high school education as the mother had anticipated. However, his tenacity, fortitude and guts have really paid. Kuami is now a “Rockstar” who many youngsters out there are looking up to.

We believe his mum is surely proud of her son and all those enemies who might have badmouthed him during those tough times are burying their heads in shame now.

News of Lynx Entertainment artsiste, Kuami Eugene starting his music career as  a gospel musician hit the internet few days ago.

There were several images and posters of the ‘Angela’ hitmaker on social media.

Many Ghanaians were surprised to hear that Kuami Eugene had diverted from gospel to ‘worldly’ music.

Others however didn’t see anything wrong with it so long as he still believes in God.

Video: No Ghanaian Musician Can Be Compared To Wizkid – Kuami Eugene

Lynx Entertainment signed artiste, Kuami Eugene says no Ghanaian musician can be compared to  Nigerian Superstar, Wizkid.

The ‘Angela’ hitmaker believes that, Wizkid is one of the best musician on the African continent. And that he’s peerless among his colleague Ghanaian artistes.

According to him, the success of the 27-year-old singer, cannot be compared to any those of his colleagues in Ghana. Hence his Ghanaian industry colleagues must appreciate and accord him the necessary credit he deserves.

Kuami Eugene was speaking on the recent episode of Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix on Angel TV last Saturday. He noted that Wizkid, real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogu staged a sold-out concert no African has ever organized not long ago.

When asked if Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, R2bees are not doing well enough to be his target, Kuami Eugene replied that they are great artists but Wizkid is exceptionally doing well. He posited that Wizkid was at the Grammys long before many Africans.

Kuami Eugene Speaks;

“He’s been the first African artiste to do a lot of things. Wizkid was at the Grammys long before many Africans,” Eugene said.

The ‘Confusion’ hitmaker further revealed he is working hard to become even bigger than “Holla At Ur Boy” hitmaker, Wizkid.

Zionfelix, however asked him why he wants to be bigger than Wizkid and not any other Ghanaian artiste.

Kuami answered that it’s because he wants to print a good legacy in the history of Ghanaian books.

To him, he sees nothing wrong with wishing good for himself as a Ghanaian artiste who wants to attain higher heights than the ‘Manya’ hitmaker.

Kuami Eugene Drops News Track Dubbed ‘Confusion’

Lynx Entertainment Afrobeat rockstar, Kuami Eugene kickstarts the year with a new banger.

He titles this love themed and laid back song ‘Confusion”.

The song talks about how the family of Kuami Eugene do not support his relationship with his girlfriend(Ahoufe Patri).

However he is ready to defy all odds even his family for the love he has for his girlfriend.

No matter the confusion caused by his family or anyone for that matter his love for her is an undying one.

“Confusion” hit Youtube yesterday, January 31, 2018.

It  however has over six thousand views on Youtube as of the time of filling this story.

The video stars Ahoufe Patri, Kalybos and Akuma Mama Zimbi.

Kuami Eugene however self produced the song and KP happens to be the director.

“Confusion” is set to take over the whole music scene just like what ‘Angela’ did.
