Akwaaba Premieres On Valentine’s Day(VIDEO)

Every Valentine’s Day, actor, producer and director, Kobi Rana brings treat movie lovers to a great romantic comedy movie in various regions and universities in Ghana.

This year’s is no exception as Kobi Rana films presents yet another power packed movie titled AKWAABA (Welcome To The House Of LOVE).

Akwaaba is a power-packed story of relationships and marriages going through the best and worst times. Will LOVE win at the end of the day?

Make it a point to therefore be at the Global Cinemas, Weija in Accra Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14 to have a feel of this movie.

Apart from Global Cinemas, Akwaaba will premiere simultaneously at Eusbett Cinema in Sunyani, Koforidua Technical University, University for Development Studies, Tamale; University of Education, Winneba, GNAT Hall, Ho and the University of Ghana, Drama Studios, Legon, Accra.

Speaking about the movie, Kobi Rana said Akwaaba is full of great lessons for anyone who would watch it.

“It answers questions on relationships and marriage and has powerful messages for the single or divorced. The movie is a relief from stress and spice to everyday relationships or marriage,” he the Daily Graphic.

To Kobi Rana, Akwaaba is one of his best movies because it is closer to a Hollywood movie in terms of the storyline, acting, dialogue, suspense and comedy.

Written, produced and directed by Kobi Rana on RANAway Films, Akwaaba features a blend from all genre.

Some of the casts include; Bishop Nyarko, Gloria Osei Sarfo, Efia Odo, Moesha Boduong, Baby Blanche, among others.

Actor, producer and director, Kobi Rana, is popular for his controversial movies.

Fred Nuamah Hates Me Because I’m Gifted – Kobi Rana

Actor cum movie producer Kobi Rana has fired shots at the founder of the Ghana Movie

Awards, Fred Nuamah.

Kobi through an Instagram post shared the trailer of one of his latest movies titled ‘My Name

is Ramadan’ which features dancehall artist Stonebowy as one of its characters.

But it’s the caption which caught our attention. Strongly worded and dripping with emotions, Kobi says although his movies are always nominated Fred and his cronies at the Ghana Movie Awards find ways to thwarts his efforts.

He wrote, “This year, this is one of Africa’s best movie and acting performances. The movie title: My Name Is Ramadan. I was told Fred Nuamah and his friends are having their awards.

Ask him why this movie and chaskele were submitted but never reached the jury. They hate that made him nominate me 15 times and give me nothing is the same hate that made him throw our submissions away. I have one message for Fred and his friends. I AM GIFTED AND LIFTED. YOU CAN’T TOUCH THAT.”

Kobi Rana also tagged some actors and actress in the industry whom he claimed were very

much aware of this diabolic acts. This list includes Kafui Danku, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Prince

David Osei, Jackie Appiah and Kalsoume, who according to him know about everything.
