Music producer, songwriter and Lynx entertainment artiste, Kidi is back again with another banger.
He titles this one ‘Adiepena’.
Adiepena’ is a love song telling a story about two people who’re attached to each other since their childhood days and that connection keep growing as they grow up.
The song has already taken over the various airwaves. Most fans of the ‘Odo’ hitmaker and music lovers are also dancing to the song on most social media platforms.
On the tune, the crew references the likes of Nana Acheampong, Paapa Yankson, as well as 4×4 member, Coded’s cheeky 2018 hit “Edey Pain Dem”. Therefore, Adiepena not only excels as homage to Highlife elders, but also serves as a well-constructed bridge that connects this generation and the ones prior.
Production credit goes to Da Beat God whiles Rex is the one behind the video directing.
Talking about the video, it’s quality is on point and the art really relayed the story behind the song.
Born Dennis Nana Dwamena, KiDi is up for 5 laurels at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The awards, which is slated for April 15, sees Kidi battling for Highlife Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Afro Pop Song of the Year, and Song of the Year.
He’s credited for songs such as ‘Odo’, ‘Say You Love Me’, ‘Never Again’, among others.
