Ghanaians woke up on Friday only to hear the unfortunate news of the untimely death of dancehall act Ebony Reigns.

The news has since has taken so many people aback.

Whiles many couldn’t believe the news at first sight, they later had to accept it despite the pains and shocks.

Others, despite seeing the bodies of the deceased still can’t bring themselves to believe it. For those who believe it however, they can’t help but to share the bitter truth of life with others.

One of such people is ace broadcaster Oheneyere Gifty Anti who still seems to be disturbed by the fact that such a young and exuberant youth is already at the morgue.

Pondering over how life could be this short, Gifty Anti could not fathom how Ebony, so young and filled with such great talent is now lying lifeless at the morgue.

Joining a host of celebrities on social media, Gifty Anti writes to advice all to be weary of how we spend this short period given to us here on earth.

“Ei! So Ebony has spent 24 hours in the morgue?”. She quizzed in astonishment.

She in an Instagram post, seized the opportunity to ask why people can’t just live in peace with another and love all.

According to her, if this is how life is then why is there need for all the evil things people do against their fellow human beings?

Gifty Anti Writes;

“Wow!!! Hmmmmm Life…. So really what is the hassle all about? The hurting each other, being wicked to each other, being jealous and doing everything you can to destroy someone’s happiness, the betrayals, the disappointments…What’s all that about? The strong desire to destroy someone’s reputation?” she quizzed.

She seized the opportunity to express her love to all and ask for forgiveness from anyone she might have offended.

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng known in showbiz circle as Ebony Reigns died in a fatal accident which occurred on Thursday, 8th February at Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.

She was on her way to Accra after she had paid a short visit to her mother in Sunyani who had come from abroad when the unfortunate incident happened.

Ebony was a Ghanaian dancehall/afropop songstress and died at age 20.

Ace Broadcaster, Oheneyere Gifty Anti has advised all woman to take their health issues seriously.

If you’re still wondering how Gifty Anti was able to give birth at age 47, then you must know that her health issues are part.

The feminist, has shown that apart from God and miracles, taking proper care of ones health is very important.

After going for her yearly checkup, she decided to advise women on the importance of knowing their health status.

According to her it is essential for every woman to know her health status. This she said can be achieved by going for thorough medical checkups at least once in a year.

Gifty Anti again added that though going for these checkups may sometimes be uncomfortable and expensive, it is worth it.

According to the women advocate, gone are the days of ignorance. Knowledge is now absolute power.

“So today, I went for my yearly medical check up. Thorough medical check up. I mean a ‘well woman’ health check up.
Yes it is uncomfortable and maybe expensive but it is life saving. The days of ‘what you do not know does not kill you’ are long gone. Knowledge is power. Absolute power.
An empowered woman knows her health status. Knowledge is power and knowing your health status makes you powerful.
Come on ladies. It is worth it.” She wrote on her Instagram page.

As life goes on, we can see lot of changes occur in women’s life cycle. Women’s reproductive health is vulnerable to many hazards and needs timely awareness and treatment. The common problems related to reproductive system in the age group of 41 to 60 years are infections of the reproductive tract, menopause, genital organ prolapse, abnormal uterine bleeding and genital malignancy.

The National Family Health Survey II conducted in 1998-1999 among those in medium or low standard of living revealed that 40% to 41% had reproductive tract infection.

There is also cervical cancers, breast cancers among others which women need to be regularly checked up on. This can help early detection and prevent the worst scenarios.

 

2017 was indeed a blessed and a miraculous year for Broadcaster Oheneyere Gifty Anti.

I realized that when grace locates you, then it has really done so and there’s nothing anyone can do about it is hundred percent true.

Gifty is got married on October 15,2015 at age 45 to Oyiakehyire Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Adumasa in the Eastern Region.

Tongues began to wag when the news of her marriage broke out.

Of course, many people didn’t understand why she had to worry herself with marriage at her age.

But as I said earlier, when grace locates you, there’s nothing no one can do about it, not even yourself.

People began to wonder how she was going to give birth at her age since they had already assumed she had hit her menopause.

Well, the grace and miracle occurred two years later when news of Gifty Anti’s pregnancy broke out.

The concluding miracle was that she finally put to birth safely. She gave birth to a bouncing baby girl called ‘Princess of Adumasa’.
