Ghana Is Indeed A Village, Cowards Are Afraid To Say It – Rapper Donzy

Ghanaian rapper, Donzy Chaka, has rallied his support for dancehall act, Shatta Wale

following his comments about Ghana being a village.

Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale recently said during his performance

at the Indigo O2 Arena in London for his ‘Reign Album’ concert that Ghana is a village.

Many took to social media to condemn him for his comments.

But Donzy, speaking on ‘Zionfelix Uncut’ stated that it is a fact that Ghana is an actual

village which cannot be denied by anybody.

He told Zionfelix the host of the show that there are many people who have spoken to him

behind the scenes, who agree that it is true that Ghana is a village but will never make their views public. He also stresses that such people are cowards because they know the truth but will never admit it.

The ‘You And The Devil’ hitmaker further stated that many of our leaders travel beyond the shores of our country and are very aware of the successes in other countries. They see the developments many of these countries they travel have seen in these years in terms of its infrastructure and other areas which is not the same in Ghana.

Donzy was, however, quick to add that even though he totally agrees with the Shatta Movement boss, he believes the platform he used to put out his views was not the most appropriate.

in the prophecies of these men of God.

Ghanaian artistes by some Prophets.

prophet had told him that he (Donzy) was going to die very soon through a motor accident.

Donzy Chaka also added that he is sometimes surprised when he hears prophets put fear in

Christians because of death. Donzy questioned the logic in why a Christian should be afraid of death because it is believed that death is to the benefit of a Christian.

Donzy continued to make the point that every Christian who dies is supposed to go to heaven and as such prophets should allow their members to die and stop the negative prophecies.

There Is No Sense In Voting In Ghana – Donzy Chaka

Residents have intensified protests over the lack of footbridges on the road in recent times

following multiple deaths in the entire year.

Speaking to Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra‘, the ‘Club’ hitmaker bemoaned the situation stating;

‘‘I stopped voting after casting my first vote at the age of 18. At that age, I was living with my family who were fully NPP supporters and everyone was supposed to cast a vote so I voted.”

“Upon growing up from that time, I have noticed that there is no sense in voting as a Ghanaian. Politicians are refusing to do what they are supposed to do. I don’t trust any politician,” he added.

“During campaign, they will be insulting their opponents on radio and a whole lot of fake promises but they won’t do what they are supposed to do when they come to office. Look at what happened at Adenta not long ago and look at the Tema Motorway yet we still pay taxes,’’ he queried.
