A Must Read: Delay Drops ‘Ten Commandments’ For Ladies

Prolific TV personality cum entrepreneur, Deloris Frimpong Manso, aka Delay has unleashed

ten sets of commandment for any lady seeking to become prominent in today’s society to follow.

Delay, is undoubtedly one of the ladies in Ghana who has braved the odds and ensured that she

achieves greatness in whatever she does despite the ridicules or challenges that comes with it.

She believes that a woman can live the best of lives without the help of a man as has lately

been the norm where most of them solely depend on their male partners for survival.

In a post on Instagram, the lady has outlined ten commandments ladies should follow to help

shape their thinking.

They are listed as follows;

1. Don’t be in a hurry to move out of ur parents house.

2. Don’t wait for a man b4 u start living. U can live a fulfilled life as a single woman.

3. Stay away from alcohol. It has killed others and u are not special.
4. Don’t entertain a wrong number call, especially at night. Its not the right way to find a lover.

5. Develop a healthy eating habit. Always take breakfast and avoid sweets.
6. Dress well: impression count. People will judge u by d way u dress even b4 dey talk to u.

7.Don’t use sex as proof of love. Sex is no proof of love, he’ll leave u after the sex.

8. Don’t marry for the money, else u’ll become 1 of his possessions.

9. Add value to yourself – get a career. Dont be fooled that a man will solve all your problems.

10. Beauty is not everything. If its all you have, u’ll lose ur place to some1 less beautiful but more matured and competent.

Love Is When You Hit Me From Behind – Delay Tells Rapper M.anifest

Love is one word which many find hard to define. In his quest to find how his fans define this word,

rapper M.anifest took to social media to ask from his followers “What love is.”

The question however drew an unexpected response from TV host Delay, born Deloris Frimpong Manso who answered the question with the comment, “Love is when you hit me from behind,”

Her response sent social media fans wild with some suggesting Delay may have “fallen” for M.anifest.

Many social media users however believe that the Radio and TV presenter’s answer is a subtle reply to reveal her favorite position when it comes to love-making.

Delay, however, debunked the thoughts, insisting her response had nothing to do with a “fall” for the God MC.

I Once Lived In A Mechanic Shop At Tema – Delay

Celebrated broadcaster and producer, Deloris Frimpong-Manso popularly known as Delay has shared her success story with patrons of 2018 iYES conference.

Addressing the audience at the National Theatre, the controversial broadcaster said her journey in the media has not been rosy.

She recounted an incident which ended her at a mechanic shop.

According to her, she was staying with her auntie at Tema but was thrown out of the house because they had a misunderstanding.

Around 2003, I was staying with my auntie in Tema and I had a little argument with her and her husband thought I was a bit difficult to control so they threw me out of the house.

I was 21. I had nowhere to go. I ended staying with some friends at a mechanic shop in Tema Community 2,” she said.

She further revealed that a few weeks after she was sacked from her auntie’s house, her mother passed away.

Delay, in her speech also talked about the trials, rejection and fortunes of her quest to be a broadcaster.

She also recounted how she worked at Adom FM at midnight for a year without salary.

This she, explained was because she was not an employee – she was just being tried.

She further disclosed that these challenges however, did not break her. She believes they prepared her for the successes she is enjoying now.

Delay has gained acclaim for her exceptional questioning abilities on her show dubbed ‘The Delay Show”

She has worked with Life FM, Nkosuo FM, Top FM, TV3 and Oman FM in the past.

Deloris is the producer of the ‘Cocoa Brown’ and ‘Afia Schwarzenegger’ television series.

I Feel Lonely Sometimes Without My Mum – Delay

Television personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, aka Delay says the world seems lonely for her sometimes without her mother.

It is said that death’s ladder is there for everyone to climb. However, when death lays its icy hands on a loved one, it leaves an indelible mark on our hearts.

Not everyone is able to recover from the demise of a loved one. Some do recover but the pain of losing that special someone never goes away.

This is perhaps the case of entrepreneur and screen goddess, Delay.

One may think that with her success and achievements in life it would be easy for her to easily forget the demise of her loved ones.

However, Deloris Frimpong Manso, says not a day goes by without her thinking of her mother.

Deloris lost her mother in the year 2003 but according to her, not a day goes by that she doesn’t think of her.

Indeed, a mother’s love is none like any other. Delay posted a beautiful photo of herself  in floral jumpsuit on her Instagram page where she pinpoints her resemblance with her mom.

The photo, are not only for her followers to like but to let the world know how much she misses her mother. According to her, she believes her mother is still watching over her and that she knows she’ll make her proud soon.

The following words were her caption;

My lips, my eyes! I look just like my mother in this picture. Not one day passes that I don’t think about her, and to be honest there are still times when it’s a lonely world without her. I believe she’s still looking out for me and I know I will make her proud very soon..

Deloris Frimpong Manso was born in 1982. She’s an entrepreneur, Tv/radio presenter, and producer. She started her career of being a presenter in 1995 at Live FM in Nkawkaw where she goes by the name, Frimpomaa.

Delay aka ‘Odo Broni’ gave up her career for almost two years when she lost her mother in 2003. She later came back around 2005 and started over again with top radio. She joined the Presenters Guide and got a job at Oman FM but was later replaced.

Her breakthrough came in 2008 when she started the ‘Afia Schwarzenegger Tv series’. She has a new drama series ‘Cocoa Brown’, which is based on her true life story.

She’s  also the host of the popular TV show, ‘The Delay Show’.
