We Both Fell In Love And Got Married – Captain Planet To Critics

Captain Planet, a ghanaian musician and the leader of the defunct group, 4×4, says he got married

to his wife not because of her perceived wealth as a section of the public thinks.

Rather, he said, he married his wife based on true love.

The rapper’s marriage has been a subject of discussion on social media ever since he married his wife, Uche Ofodile, some nine years ago.

Counsellor Lutterodt, for instance, is quoted of having said that Captain Planet—real name, Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey, has married his big sister.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Monday, November 12, this year,

the hip pop artist explained that his wife sometimes shares with him some of the things people say about their marriage.

He said his wife had once advised him to be careful about some people because they are jealous of him, saying

“A lot of people are very jealous of you. Some of them are not your friends.”

Narrating how he met his wife, Captain Planet said his dead dog connected them together, explaining that

“Anytime I go to Uche’s house and I’m going home, the dog will be following me everywhere…,

it got to a time that the dog was living with me anytime Uche travels.

She will say go and be with Jeff.”

According to him, no one pays bride prize to be with his enemy, stating that they both fell in love and got married.

Captain Planet also gave a hint about 4×4’s comeback.

The Best Way To Deal With Trolls Is To Block Them – Captain Planet

Rapper Captain Planet has given the best dosage to dealing with trolls on social media by

some followers.

According to the ‘Akpeteshie’ hitmaker, the best way for anyone, including entertainment

personalities, to deal with internet trolls is to block them.

He noted that blocking them is the surest way of preventing them from posting negative

comments and attacking people.

Captain Planet made this know during an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on

Hitz FM.

The rapper sharing his views on people trolling others on social media revealed that he

has always been a victim of internet trolls.

Asked if he replies internet trolls, he said, he will never reply to anyone who attacks him

because not everyone who “follows you is your true fun.”

“I’m the type that I have never replied anyone,” he told Andy Dosty.

He further stressed; “You don’t need to reply to every criticism” and that, “some are just attention seekers.”

When Andy Dosty inquired how he deals with internet trolls, Captain Planet said he blocks

them because “it’s the best way.”

The rapper explained that he used to get worried about people trolling him and “When I want to reply she [my wife] says ‘no…leave it.’”

My Dog Connected Me To My Wife – Captain Planet

Hip pop artiste, Captain Planet, born Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey has revealed his connection

between his dead dog and his wife.

The ‘Obi Agye Obi Girl’ hitmaker was seen in a viral video last week weeping over the death

of his dog.

Many however couldn’t fathom why he would shed tears for a dead dog knowing too

well how not too many Ghanaians are not fond of pets.

But speaking about the incident, Captain Planet has finally revealed why he shed tears

over his dog’s death.

According to him, his dead dog connected him to his wife.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Monday, he said, “the excitement of the dog, whenever I went to her house, was overwhelming, the dog followed me where ever I went, it was very protective of me” he disclosed.

According to him the behavior of the dog around him made it very comfortable for his wife to leave the dog with him whenever she left Ghana.

“Gradually the dog became mine and everything continued from there. Whenever we fought it hide under the bed, when I get childish and resort to a different room it slept with me, it was always with me”, he added.

He titles this new single ‘Your Mother Saw Me’. This time round, Captain Planet talks about how he was able to escape from his girlfriend’s father.

He was however in the process of escaping seen by his girlfriend’s mother.

Captain Planet Finally Serves Ghanaians With His ‘Akpeteshie’ Track

Ghanaian Hip-life/Hip-pop artiste, Captain Planet has released his much-anticipated song ‘Akpeteshie’.

‘Akpeteshie’, is a Ghanaian spirit produced by distilling of palm wine or sugar cane. It has other names such as VC10, and apio.

Prior to the release of ‘ Akpeteshie’, ghafla.com reported the yet to be released song could face a ban from the Food And Drug Authority with regards to the lyrical content.

The song is a BeatBoss Tims production, Mix, Mastered by Mix Master Garzy and delivered in Hi-life vein.

What Akpeteshie Entails;

In the lyrics, Captain Planet expresses his misgivings as to how Ghanaians underrate ‘Akpeteshie’  simply because it’s locally manufactured.

The ‘Obi Agyi Obi Girl’ hitmaker advised that children below 18 years should not be allowed to drink the spirit. He further advocated that Ghanaians should patronize the spirit, but drink it responsibly.

‘Aketeshie’ is actually a captivating song that would soon catch the public domain like conflagration and transcend the borders of Ghana.

Captain Planet also has other songs including, ‘Sangbelegbe’, ‘Respek’, among others.

I Was Once Detained In The US Because Of My Name – Captain Planet

Hiplife musician Captain Planet, of music trio 4×4, has disclosed that he was detained in America on his first visit.

In an interview with Doreen Andoh on Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM, Captain Planet, whose real name is Jeff Silvanus Dodji Dovo Negro, shared his experience when he first visited the United States of America.

According to the Suhum-born rapper, he was detained for two hours in the US because of his name.

He explained further that he had to wait for that long while the immigration authority in the United States contacted Ghana to find out if he was truly Ghanaian.

The musician said he was compelled to drop a part of his name to avoid having the same problem subsequently upon his return back to Ghana.

“When I came to Ghana I was so upset I had to take some of the names out,” he said.

Captain Planet also confirmed rumors that his wife is older him.

“My wife is older than me but it doesn’t change anything,” he said

Captain Planet, who is the leader of hiplife trio 4×4, recently released a latest hit ‘Obi Agye Obi Girl’ which features Kofi Kinaata.

Talking about his motivation for his recent track, he said, “My inspiration came from hearing stories of breakups from friends and also, some of them are from movies that I’ve been watching.”

The rapper concluded that he decided to write the song after listening to all these stories.

The track, ‘Obi Agye Obi Girl’ has become an anthem among music lovers less than a month after its release.

Captain Planet Finally Hits With Single Track

Former member of the award- wining trio music group, 4X4,Captain Planet, born Sylvanus Dodji  Jeoffrey seems to have finally made it in the world of solo artistes with is new track.

After several frantic efforts of releasing several songs like ‘Sangbelegbe’ , ‘Respek’, and ‘I’m Blessed’ backed by quality videos as a solo artist which failed to garner attention, Captain Planet seems to have landed himself a major hit with the Kofi Kinaata-assisted ‘Obi Agyi Obi Girl’ track.

The new single, produced by Mix Master Gazy, is different and is already attaining massive airplay across the country.

You may have probably heard of the track which has taken over all social media platforms now with even a more hilarious cartoon dancing to the song. Yes, that’s Captain Planet’s new single track.

The trio with hit songs such as ‘world trade centre’, ‘Yesi Yesii’, HotGirls.com’  among others were at a point called Ghana’s longest surviving hiplife group and had won several awards including Best Group and Album of the Year at the 2011 and 2012 Ghana Music Awards.

It is not clear whether they have split for good or not as’ Coded’ in an interview revealed that each individual has decided to release single tracks for now after almost twenty years of working together as a group.

Well, Captain Planet has seen his breakthrough and Ghana is yet to hear from the other two former colleagues, Coded (Raphael Edem Avornyo) and Fresh Prince(Prince Tamakloe) with their singles.

Information ghafla.com is that, the artist, known to produce quality videos is already prepping a banger for a music video, to augment the promotion of the new single, which has the characteristics of a ‘hit song’ all over it.
