Boris Kodjoe To Storm Ghana With 40 Top Celebrities(VIDEO)

Hollywood star, Boris Kodjoe has disclosed that he will be storming Ghana this December

with some of the world’s biggest celebrities.

The actor, who is of Ghanaian descent, said in a video that he is bringing 40 of the world’s

renowned celebrities to Accra to experience the country’s rich culture and history.

Boris Kodjoe, whose father is a Ghanaian, was in Ghana in May this year and was appointed

Ambassador of Film for Ghana by Catherine Afeku, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

“…being that my father was from Ghana and we visited my grandmother, my cousins and my uncles. Every holiday we had makes me really connected to our country,” he said the video.

“That’s why I’m so excited to bring 40 of my famous friends, some of the world’s top

celebrities to Accra in December so they can meet the people, feel the culture, connect with the energetic heritage, they can relax on the beaches, tour the castles and then share their experience the with millions and millions of follows around the world,” the actor added.

Kodjoe urged interested people and bodies “who understand the importance of showing the

world what an amazing tourist and business destination Ghana is” to come on board to make this a reality.

Known in real life as Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe, Mr Kodjoe is an Austrian-born actor of German and Ghanaian descent.

Boris Kudjoe is popular for his roles as Kelby in the 2002 film “Brown Sugar,” the sports-courier agent

Damon Carter on the Showtime drama series “Soul Food” and was a recurring character on

FOX’s “The Last Man on Earth.”

He currently co-stars on BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and on the CBS medical drama “Code Black.”

Kodjoe was born in Vienna, Austria, the son of Ursula, a German psychologist of partially

Jewish descent, and Eric Kodjoe, a Ghanaian physician who is a Krobo.

He was the host the 2018 edition of the CAF Awards which came off at the Accra International

Conference Centre on Thursday, January 4.

I’m Ever Ready To Work With Ghanaian Actors – Boris Kodjoe

Hollywood actor of Ghanaian descent, Boris Kodjoe says he is ready to work with Ghanaian actors to help grow our movie industry.

According to him, he is already in touch with some Ghanaian producers and actors and they’re discussing movies he could co-produce.

Boris Kodjoe made this revelation when he met the media at the Movenpick Hotel on Tuesday.

“Ghana has great actors and with my experience, I will be more than glad to work with these actors and producers. I have some scripts ready for some Ghanaian actors I personally admire,” he said.

Boris is popular for his role in television series, The Boris and Nicole Show, Real Husbands of Hollywood, Soul Food etc.

He’s also in movies like Addicted, Madea’s Family Reunion, Resident Evil, The Gospel, Baggage Claim etc.

The actor arrived in Ghana few days ago with his wife and children.

His arrived to host the CAF Awards which took place yesterday, January 4, 2018 at the State House Banquet Hall-Accra.

Away from acting, Boris also revealed that Kuami Eugene and Kidi are his favorite musicians.

According to him, although these musicians are young, one cannot make light of their talents. He is of the belief that they will go far.

As the host of CAF Awards Boris Kodjoe couldn’t hide his excitement and gratitude to the organizers.

“To host such a great awards scheme is a great honor. Not many artistes get the opportunity for such an occasion and I must say I am honored to be selected as the MC for the event,” he said.

Actress and model, Nicole Ari Parker, Mr. Kodjoe’s wife who was with him thanked Ghanaians for supporting her husband.

“This is my second time in Ghana and our two children always love it when they get here.

Ghana is a lovely country,”she added.

Hollywood actor of  German and Ghanaian descent, Boris Kodjoe is enjoying his visit to his homeland Ghana.

The actor landed on the Ghanaian soil a few days ago in the company of his wife, an American actress and model, Nicole Ari Parker and their two children.

Boris is here to host the AITEO CAF AWARDS 2017 scheduled for January 4, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Center.

Since he arrived ahead of the star studded event, he is taking his time to tour a few places in Accra. The tour is meant to educate his children on some of the rich cultures of Ghana.

A sexpected, he has set some aspirations and resolutions for the year 201. Boris took to his official Instagram page to share his excitement of exploring Accra and his ambitions with fans.

He wrote: “Looking out on a great 2018.

I’m making a commitment to doing my best every single day as a man, husband, and father.

Started today teaching my kids about culture and history by exposing them to it.

We took them to Makola market, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the Independence Arch.

It makes me so happy watching them enjoy a country and its people I love.”
