I Don’t Grant Interviews – Beverly Afaglo

Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has stated that she unlike many celebrities, she is no a frequent fan of granting interviews.

According to her, her reason for not granting interviews frequently is because the media mostly ends up contradicting what they are told to suit the purposes of their outlets.

In an interview with Foster Romanus on e.TV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show, Beverly said that, anytime she grants interviews on most mass media platforms, her words are misconstrued.

According to her, she is an open and truthful person and that whenever she speaks in an

interview, what she says is twisted to mean something else.

She said, “I was just tired of interviews, they always get something out of nothing for them to publish. I just decided, I am tired of interviews at least for now”

Beverly Afaglo, she will grant interviews on occasions where she is promoting something.

But other than that, all other information about her and any other thing can be found on the internet.

I Love It When Women Give My Husband Attention – Actress Beverly Afaglo

Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has revealed that she loves the euphoria that comes with ladies loving her man.

Beverly, who is the wife of of Praye Honeho(Choirmaster) in an interview with the Accra based

radio station Joy Fm on Monday said that she gets happy when she notices her man has

attention and tells him to spark his game to get more of that attention.

“Funny enough, I love it when women love my man. When I say it they say I am a strange woman, but when I see people are not noticing my husband again, am like you need to shave, you need to go and do your hair. I need people to be all over my man then I say yeah, that’s my man”, she told host Lexis Bill.

Beverly Afaglo has been married to the Choir Master for about six years now and they are blessed with two wonderful girls.

The actress and entrepreneur further disclosed that she has been around attending to other

businesses, partly because the movie industry has been quite slow lately.

“We are not doing a lot lately, especially for the last two years. Most of the movies are being premiered and going online. I am very busy managing businesses and being a mother as well”.

Responding to Lexis Bill on whether her husband was okay with her busy schedule, she said her

husband was okay with what she does because he also leaves at a point in time when he has a busy schedule too.

“He gets busy as well and he is most at times traveling. Some musicians are Accra musicians but Praye is for the whole Ghana so he gets to travel a lot. When he’s out and we home we don’t complain”.

She went on to reveal how she met with her husband, who at that time was already a household name in the country.

She said they first met at the beach, where they established friendship and in some months’ time, it developed to something serious.

Beverly however added that she didn’t see herself marrying a celebrity, because she felt those kind of relationships never happened.

“I didn’t know it will turn out to marriage because I never thought celebrities will marry at all. They don’t even talk about it.”

She admitted that as a celebrity couple, they face challenges sometimes with respect to how society perceives them but that aside, they were also ordinary people and had to also live an ordinary life too.

“there’s pressure on us most of the time for so many things. Most people see celebrities as rich and famous so when they see you and you are not driving let’s say a G-Wagon; they are like okay, what happened?”

The actress touched on a rather sensitive question posed by Lexis Bill on whether she has been

intimate with an actor on set before.

She replied by saying she has kissed passionately on set before, but it was all work.

“Yes, passionately, but no attachment”.

I Only Wear My Ring In Special Places – Beverly Afaglo

Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo Baah says she only wears her wedding ring on special occasions.

Mrs Baah made this revelation during an interview on Behind the fame on Joy FM, on February 11.

According to her, she did not like the ring mark on her finger anytime she had to take it off to act.

Beverly, who is the wife of Choirmaster of Praye fame told Lexis Bill; “it gave me different colours on my finger and I didn’t like what I saw in my last movie Brown sugar.”

“I take the ring to special places, now, like weddings,” she added.

She disputed rumours she and her husband were no longer together, “everybody knows we’re married, I’m surprised people think we’re not together.”

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz in 2018, Beverly Afaglo said being a submissive wife has

been the secret to making her marriage successful.

According to her, she recognizes her husband as the head of the family and gives him that

respect despite her status as a star actress.

The celebrity couple got married in April 2012 and have two children together.

Beverly Afaglo told Lexis her husband also does not wear his ring, “he lost it when playing football.”

“We’re working on getting another one,” she added.

The actress, however, stated, her husband if he has his ring can take it off whenever he wants,

that does not make them any less married than they already are.

Full Time Housewife Is Full Time Suffering- Actress Beverly Afaglo

If you’re a woman and you’re thinking of becoming a full time housewife, then Beverly Afaglo has a piece of advise for you.

Award-winning Ghalleywood actress Bervely Afaglo has advised all women not to depend entirely on their husband’s for all kinds of support especially financial ones.

According to the mother of two and wife, a woman who depends entirely on her husband or boyfriend for financial support is a ‘useless’ woman.
” if the totality of ur finances is dependant on ur husband or boyfriend then u are useless” She wrote.

The beautiful actress who took to her official Instagram page to advice her fans and women stated that “Being a full time housewife is a full time suffering”
To her, a woman needs to work and earn a living in order to support her husband or boyfriend and not to be entirely dependent on her man for every financial support.

The actress further stated that men don’t want to marry a woman who will end up being a liability to them but one who will become an asset.
“No man wants a liability, every man wants an asset”.

Today’s modern woman will tell you that ” gone are the days when a man is solely responsible for the entire well- being of his family. Apart from the expensive nature of living these days, there are many bills to be paid aside school fees. A man therefore needs help in taking care of all those bills.

Beverly is therefore urging all women to think twice before venturing into full time housewife.
