Asuoden Music president, Pope Skinny, now Asuoden God has stated that he has been very useful to the growth of Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
According to him, Shatta Wale gained a VGMA nomination again after failing so many times so many times.
This he claimed was possible only after he(Pope Skinny) hosted the latter on his radio show, Kasahari Levelz years ago.
The Akuapem rap was speaking in an interview with Sokoohemaa Kukuaa on Rainbow Radio.
“Shatta Wale was taken really serious after I hosted him on my show years ago. The interview shot Shatta Wale to greater heights. He gained recognition at the VGMAs for the first time after several failed attempts after that interview.”
Born Edwin Kwame Ohene Darko, the Asuoden God has now gone solo. This according to reports is after failed Shatta Wale effect.
He is undergoing re-branding of his personality as a musician and preparing himself to reap some wealth off the music business.
He however has songs like “Hot Cake”, “Wa Shatta Me”,”Adwoa”, “Special treat”among others to his credit.
