Stonebwoy Unfollows A Plus On Instagram

Controversial Ghanaian musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, aka A Plus has disclosed that dancehall act, Stonebwoy has un-followed him on photosharing app – Instagram.

He believes that the latter did that because of false reports by the media about his comments.

According to him, Stonebwoy unfollowing him doesn’t bother him. However, he believes that the media created an impression that he doesn’t like stonebwoy.

A Plus is one of the many Ghanaians who aired his views on the current feud between Zylofon Media and Stonebwoy.

He expressed his unhappiness at the current mishaps between Zylofon Media and Stonebwoy. A Plus is believed to have said that he would at anytime opt for a paid Shatta Wale show over a free show by stonebwoy. This according to him is because of the strong love he has for Shatta Wale. Nevertheless he condemned the manner in which the media outlet treated the Bhim Nation boss over the weekend.

According to A Plus, it is likely they might treat Shatta Wale the same way they’re treating Stonebwoy sometime to come. Hence, he will not concord to the treatment meted out to Stonebwoy. This he said is because if same thing was done to Shatta he wouldn’t like it.

He made this known in a post after the news of a feud broke out on Saturday evening.

According to reports, Zylofon Media crew led by Bulldog tried to seize Stonebwoy’s Mercedez Benz at the champs bar in Paloma hotel -Accra.

His comment might have not gone down well with the ‘Bawasaawa’ hitmaker, who he’s later alleging has un-followed him.

He therefore decided to re-post his former comments again with his new comment that states Stonebwoy has un-followed him.

A Plus’ Wife Bleaching Saga; The Complete Story

Kwame Asare Obeng aka A Plus has responded to Social Media critics about the drastic change in complexion of his wife, Akosua Bannerman, also known as Akosua Vee.

It all began few days ago when the news of Songstress Becca’s bleaching came out.

According to reports, a comparison between a recent photo Becca posted online with an old one of hers shows she has bleached.

As usual, the news did not go down well with most Ghanaians as they took to social media to express their disappointment at the ‘Daa ki daa’ hitmaker.

In the course of this, an account user on Facebook with name A Plus, posted a photo of Becca online with the caption “who is this Fake European Lady with original African Armpit?”.

Apparently, this didn’t go down well with many Ghanaians as well, especially an Instagram user with name’ Whenitis_coming_itisdoing’.

This Instagram user, thinking the account belongs to the controversial Musician and Comedian Kwame A Plus then decided to bite him where it hurts the most by posting a before and after photo of his wife.

“whenitis_ coming_itisdoing” re-posted the same photo on Instagram. The photo was captioned; “And this is a post made by the guy whose wife bleach saaa she even borrows bleaching creams from cosmetic stores. smh b3ma di wo lane mu wai and advice your wife first. Ky3s3 wo yere akwadre bleaching mu 3nti wo kaas3 y3nhu.smh”.

Few minutes later, “whenitis_ coming_itisdoing” posted a before and after photo of Akosua Vee with the caption; “I hate doing this before and after thing cos people change as they grow and so do life but since her husband wants to bash someone, I’m allowed to do the comparison. Kwame can we dissect and investigate the milk your wife drinks before we dissect Becca’s ideal milk? This is your wife’s before and after. Like night and day. Bleaching mu phd fo). Has she paid her debtors? Before you point finger abeg check where the rest of the fingers look and remove the spec off your own eyes.”

Post;

As expected, the media took the story and Akosua Vee bagan to make headlines instead of Becca.

The news, obviously did not go down well with Kwame A Plus who came out to deny ownership of the previous account. According to him, the account that sparked the controversy is a fake one using his name. He afterwards descended heavily on the media for not verifying first before publishing the story about his wife. He took to his Facebook account and wrote; “When I say there are just too many stupid people in the media you think I’m lying. 90% of the so called media guts are a bunch of desperate idiots trying to make ends meet. Just because someone created a page and used my name and picture means it’s me? And you use if for your major new. A Plus insults Becca.

No wonder they asked the president some very stupid questions….. as a media person can’t you tell which page is mine by my live videos? Nfuiiii ( Plural of ofui)”.

A Plus’ Post;

“whenitis_ coming_itisdoing”, realizing the blunder committed took off the before and after photo of Akosua Vee.  The original account name of A Plus was later posted by  the user with an already-too-late apology.

whenitis_coming_itisdoing’ “I will like to sincerely apologize to Kwame A Plus and his wife Akosua, I just found his real blogging page and this is it. The other page isn’t his, disregard anything that page says because it is impersonating A Plus. I feel bad for going for him like that. Akosua has bleached, no doubt about that, so no harm done there but I had no right to go for them without looking farther into it. Sorry oo.?? my dm was jorming with more pics, it was entertaining though. Mede maniwuo 3k)da wai, may3 ak)k) by force. S3 wo b3ka foo kyer3 me anadwo yi a menfa woho nky3 wo kraaa.???”, was the caption.

Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death, I’ll Never Pay TV License Fees – A Plus Fumes

Controversial rapper A Plus, born Kwame Asare Obeng, says he is ready to go to jail because of TV license fees.

According to him, he will never pay TV license to the state broadcaster even if it means going to jail.

His outburst follows reports that the Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo, has set up a special court to deal with TV license fee defaulters.

The decision to set up the court followed appeals from the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).

With this new development, defaulters will have to face the law through punishment. Punishment many come in the form of a fine or one may also face jail time for non-payment of the TV license fees.

A Plus is not the only one who seems to disagree with this law.

The news has however been greeted with public outburst with many threatening not to pay the fees to the state broadcaster.

Many people such as lecturers, lawyers etc have also aired their disapproval in this law

A Plus Remarks

In condemning the fees, A Plus had this to say, “What is on GTV that anyone must go to jail for not paying to watch! First, it was tow levy. Now it’s this nonsense. I will never pay!!! 2018 I will organize a demonstration against TV license.”

The ‘Aben Be Bom’ crooner further added that he is ready to face jail time over this.

“I want to be the first to go to jail for not paying TV license. Ghanaians are under pressure already. Bring this nonsense and jail them and see what will happen in 2020. Abi you remember the motor court? …”

He noted that any government that will try to implement such fees on an already overburdened Ghanaians is wicked.

“Any government which charge it’s poor people import duty for TV sets and charge them annually for owning it is very wicked and clueless!!! Give me liberty or give me death,” A Plus said.

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation officially reintroduced the collection of the TV License fees in 2015 after years of putting it on hold due to non-payments.

Domestic TV users are to pay between GH¢36 and GH¢60 for one or more TV sets in a household while TV set repairers and sales outlets are to pay an annual sum of between GHc60 to GHc240. Commercial TV operators however are to pay GHc36 per annum for each TV set.
