PHOTOS: 4 Celebrities Who Went ‘Braless’ To The 2018 VGMAs

Events like the just ended Vodafone sponsored Ghana Music Awards have always been an occasion to look forward to.

One thing most people cannot afford to miss about such events are the ‘Red Carpet’ sessions.

The ‘Red Carpet’ seeion is where celebrities get to exhibit their apparels for the night. It usually precedes the main event.

This year’s VGMAs has come to a successful end with the ‘wows’ and ‘oops.’ We saw our celebrities display their apparels for the night. Majority decided to go the foreign way with their dresses. A few however, were spotted in beautifully designed Ghanaian Kente cloths.

As usual, the men were classically simple and dashing. The women too were, but we all know women cannot afford to be ‘simple’ no matter how much they may try. Some did their best to but became the ‘toast’ for the year.

One thing that we couldn’t miss about some of our female celebrities were their their ‘side attractions’- b**bs. You can’t blame us too much, after all, that’s one part of women that can never go unnoticed.

There were some who covered theirs from the prying eyes of the public. Others too decided to show their cleavages. A few also went ‘braless’ as well. So we’re concentrating on those that went ‘braless’

What do I mean by ‘braless?’ Ok, they were not in brassieres. It seems our female celebrities are gradually accepting and becoming comfortable with the whole ‘braless’ thing.

We spotted a few of them, with their b**bs on and glorifying their dresses.

Awards Can Never Change Me – Joe Mettle

We’re left with just some few hours for the biggest entertainment award show in Ghana, the 19th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMAs).

However, the current reigning champion, Gospel artiste, Joe Mettle has something to say about his status as an award’s winner.

According to the ‘Boo No Ni’  singer, winning an award can never change his attitude to the way he organizes himself and do things.

Many people believe that, awards have a way of influencing a person’s utmost behavior and appearance. Thus, being it personally or career-wise. These people are often believed to behave as if they are ‘all knowing’ and the best in all things.

But speaking on the Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix show, Joe Mettle said that perception does not work for him.

According to him winning an award rather serves as an encouragement, forcing him to do what he is doing better.

He further stated that he believes awards only helps to boost the brand of an artiste. But not to contribute to change in attitudes of the artiste’s personality of business dealings.

Short Bio on Joe Mettle

Born, Joseph Oscar Mettle, he is the first gospel artiste to win the Artiste of the year awards at the VGMAs. This was in 2017, at the 18th VGMAs.

Joe Mettle is once again in the league competing for the ultimate Artiste of The Year category with four others.

However, the award comes with a unique part which happens to be the Red Carpet Show.

To make this show more lively and interactive, there have to be hosts as well. Organizers have once again announced two great personalities to host the Red Carpet Show.

They are Radio/TV personality, AJ Akuoko-Sarpong and TV3’s news anchor and actor, Johnnie Hughes.

Organizers of the awards event and the VGMA board have been receiving lots of backlashes from artistes for years now.

There are some artistes who get angry for being absent in the nominees list despite their handwork. However, this seems to happen almost every year.

Hence, they tend to ‘attack’ the board especially with their comments as ghaflagh.com has noted.

Mrs. Theresa Ayoade advised that, musicians can be upset in case they feel their expectations are not met.

That notwithstanding, she is pleading with them to pour out their grievances in a civilized manner.

She noted that musicians can be upset or angry in case their expectations are not met. Adding that, she is however pleading that they pour out their grievances in a civilized manner.

“You can be upset, you can be angry but please address your grievances in a civil way, so we can work together to build the industry”
