Full List Of Winners At 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa

The fourth edition of the Golden Movie Awards Africa(GMAA) took place over the weekend at the  Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra.

The event was highly patronized by  filmmakers from Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, and Ivory Coast for the 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa.

This year’s edition was hosted by popular Nigerian comedian AY and Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas.

The star-studded event saw celebs such as Nikki Samonas, Nana Ama McBrown, Veteran actor Fred Amugi, Nigerian actress Lilian Esoro, Lydia Forson, Vicky Zugah, Salma Mumin, Fiifi Coleman, Jackie Appiah, Cameroon’s Allene Menget, Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Ekow Smith-Asante, Gloria Sarfo, Peter Ritchie, just to mention a few

Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA) is an annual event that seeks to award excellence in movie making on the African continent and the African diaspora.

Selection Process In Progress For Golden Movie Awards Africa(GMAA) 2018

Organizers of the Golden Movie Awards Africa are extending their gratitude to the numerous filmmakers across Africa who have submitted works for this year’s awards.

Submissions closed on the 2nd of April and the Selection process is currently underway.

The JURY will begin sitting from the 17th of April to the 23rd of April 2018 at a housed location. The organizers are incorporating jurors from Nigeria, Burkina Faso and a film critic from England.

They are also giving stakeholders, film critics and journalists the chance to be part of the jury on certain days during the sitting. This is to showcase the transparency in how the Jury operates.

This should be before the 17th of April 2018.

The Nomination Announcement will be held in Abidjan Cote d’ Ivoire on the 3rd of May 2018.

The grand comes off on the 2nd June 2018 at Moevenpick Hotel.

Meanwhile, according to organizers there will be no sales of tickets for the 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa.

Instead, doors will be opened to this year’s event to filmmakers and actors strictly by invitation
