As we reported earlier, the final edition of The Girl Talk Concert with Songstress Efya has come to a successful end.

The event was highly patronized by many celebrities in and across Ghana.

Though the concert has one of its themes as ‘No men allowed’, this year’s witnessed exclusive and wonderful performances from male artistes across the various genres of music.

Some celebrities who graced the occasion were, Yvonne Nelson, Salma Mumin, Becca, Nana Adwoa Awindor(Mother of Efya) among others.

There were also many surprising male guest artistes such as  King Promise, Mr. Eazi, Kidi, Sarkodie and so many others.

The event organized by Palm Media was for 3 years running headlined by Daa Ke Da singer Becca before 2015.

It was led by Songstress Becca, who handed the mantle over to songstress Efya three years ago.

Vitamilk was the sponsor for this year’s Girl Talk Concert.

It was indeed an unforgettablepn  event and all attendees had the fun of their lives as they witnessed one outstanding performance to another.

The final edition of Efya’s ‘Bowout’ Girl Talk Concert came to a successful end at the National Theater on December 27,2017.

The ‘all-girl’ annual affair has been running for a period of three years.

Many female TV and showbiz personalities showed up in their numbers to witness this year’s edition of the show.

There was never a dull moment as, most of the celebrated females in Ghana came out in their numbers to play and support on the night.

Joselyn Dumas and Akumaa Mama Zimbi put up a splendid performance alongside the host Efya.

We know both to be media personalities and actresses, never did we know that they equally have singing talents.

They pulled out a bouncy performance as they danced and sang on stage to get the crowd ‘charged up’ for the night.

Among the celebrities present were Jackie Appiah, Beverly Afaglo, Roselyn Ngissah, Lucky Lawson and so many others.

Renowned director and producer, Shirley Frimpong Manso was also present at the ‘girls’ night out’.

The event also witnessed spectacular performances from some artistes including Mr. Eazi, Kejetia Vs Makola actors, Sarkodie, Captain Planet, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Wutah, Wanlov, Akumaa Mama Zimbi actress Joselyn Dumas and Efya’s biological mum, Nana Adwoa Awindor of “Greetings from Abroad” fame.

Meanwhile, this year’s edition of the ‘all-female’ show dubbed, the “Bow Out”, happens to be Efya’s last appearance as host and ambassador.

Former Minister Eulogises Yvonne Nelson At Girl Talk Concert (Video)

The final edition of the annual Girl Talk concert for songstress Efya was filled with many surprises.

Previous ones also had many surprising moments but this year’s really put patrons into a lot of bewildering moments.

Some of the ‘girls’ who attended the ‘Bowout’ edition for Efya were honored for all their good works and contributions to society.

One of such ‘girls’ was actress cum movie producer Yvonne Nelson.

Halfway through the show, Efya called on former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abra Dzifa Gomashie to perform a duty. Madam Gomashie, not wanting to mince the right words to describe the awards-winning actress read her speech from her phone.

In her speech, she made it known that the that night was her first time she was personally going to meet the ‘4Play actress.’  She admired her courage in facing all that she went through after her child birth.

The speech however brought a few tears into the eyes of Yvonne. She has indeed faced a lot of controversies since she put to bed.

Madam Gomashie further called on some of the girls present, including some well-known faces to help honor Yvonne Nelson with a crown for not giving up in life despite the challenges.

The even is however Yvonne’s first public outing since she delivered a baby girl  two months ago.

MzVee, Martha Ankomah, Lydia Forson, Sandra Ankobia, Becca, Nana Adwoa Awindor and many other prominent personalities mounted the stage to promise their support for each other.
