Stop Calling Veteran Musicians ‘Expired’ – Kuami Eugene To Ghanaians
Multiple awards-winning artiste, Kuami Eugene is pleading with Ghanaians to stop referring to the old crop of artistes as ‘Expired’.
Most Ghanaians have the habit of “retiring” artistes even before they take a decision to retire.
However, the ‘Wish Me Well’ Hhitmaker says this is a great worry to him as he deems it inappropriate.
The “Angela” hitmaker, in an interview with SVTV Africa, indicated that being in the Music
Industry for quite some time does not make it compulsory for the artist to retire as some Ghanaians say.

According to Kuami Eugene, Ghana lacks a fair number of artists because of the attitude of
sending artists to an early retirement.
” If pioneers like Nana Boro, Tic Tac release tracks this instant insult would be hurled at them and they would be asked to leave the music career for the young ones. However, we support Nigerian artistes who have spent the same number of years as our artists in the industry.” Kuami Eugene noted.
He further pleaded with Industry players and Ghanaians to open arms for underground
artists because they are are trying to give the Industry vibrant.
